Hotel Albatros

The view was beautiful and the staff were friendly! Our family couldn't fit in one room and requested they put us near each other. They honored this request and the view from our rooms was gorgeous!

My kids said the beds in their triple (single beds) room were not comfortable. Also, the website says they have a free shuttle from the Port, but this only applies to the Forio port. We came in and left from the other ports which came with a $40-50 euro price.

My daughter and I had a lovely time at the Hotel Albatros when we stayed there in September. We initially were going to stay three nights, but we liked it so much we added another night's stay. Everyone on staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we felt really at home. The room was lovely, the pool was incredible, and the poolside bar was a great place to have aperitifs before dinner. There even was live music on two of the nights. It was the perfect spot to watch the incredible sunsets. The food at the hotel restaurant was really delicious! The first night we had a lovely meal out, but the second night we ate at the on-site restaurant, and it was incredible! We had the rest of our dinners there for the balance of our stay. The breakfast buffet was wonderful too! Our room was very comfortable, and our balcony was enormous. We had the most beautiful views of the water and of the town center in Forio. We know we will be back to stay at the Hotel Albatros!

Pool was great, you had to walk a little ways not far to the beach. The staff was very helpful. If there was a problem they worked hard to fix it.

Explaining taxie and ferry cost better regarding cash or card.

The Sunset view was spectacular from this Hotel. Awesome pool and convenient location to some of the major Thermals on the Island. Exceptional service from Staff and breakfast buffet will not disappoint

The hotel is in a reasonable location but has some challenges. If you are bringing heavy luggage and are located on the upper floors you will be challenged to carry your bags up the 34 steps to the second floor of rooms. The rooms are clean but our oddly enough as a queen bed with a bunk bed and a twin bed in a typical European room. This made the room difficult to move around and made it feel like an orphanage. The hotel safe wasn’t operational but was fixed 2 days later.

Absolutely perfect! Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The host, Antonio couldn’t be more gracious. We were welcomed each morning with a fresh homemade breakfast. The pool is beautiful and the location is just perfect to explore all of Puglia!

The pool was lovely and so was area surrounding the pool. The food was excellent as was the service.

Hard to get to the port…shuttles sold out quickly. The 21 bus never came when we tried to get back to hotel.

Perfect location at Forio. Near to town and Poseidon thermal SPA. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The view from is amazing.

Nice hotel, good view, big rooms, good pool, stuff is very friendly. We liked the evening complimentary snacks and music near the pool! I wish it was advertised to us right in front)Once we discovered the nearest beach so we can walk without booking a shuttle every time, it was a good time.

Food at the restaurant could be better. Small variety on breakfast and every day the same. Dinner did not worth the money. My risotto had like 2 shrimps(

Great facilities: an impressive garden with a large pool and an amaizing seaview, great live music, great food and friendly stuff.

The hotel is located near the beach, with fantastic views. The swimming pool area with the bar next to it is amazing, and the staff are all very helpful and kind. Our son had a little accident while he slipped and hit his head, and everyone went above and beyond to look after him and arrange a taxi to the hospital. We are really grateful for this great support and experience, thank you!

We booked this hotel last minute, as another place had cancelled. Albatros was incredible, the staff were all so friendly and polite. I was with my sister and baby, the three of us felt at home here. My baby Alice loved all the staff, they made traveling with a baby a breeze.We used the lovely pools, and spent time in the evenings either at the pool bar watching the sunset, or in our room with a lovely seaview. We loved the breakfasts (quantity and quality!). It was great to have air conditioning, and the showers were great with lots of pressure! Great to have a mini fridge also in the room.It is easy to walk to restaurants from this hotel, and also possible to walk to Poseiden thermal park which was amazing. I absolutely loved our stay here. Every single staff member was exceptional, Donatello, Vanessa, and everyone we met, thank you so much. 2 ladies and a baby, from Canada and France, we would highly recommend !

I loved everything. I might have enjoyed having a kettle in the room, but I am sure that I could have asked the front desk (but I didn't, so my fault ).

The staff was great and the location, Forio, was also good. It’s not perfect, because it’s rather far from most other places. But it’s nearby a beach and quite a few restaurants.

There was no help in carrying the luggage, I guess that’s with most other hotels in Europe.
