Wöllbacher Tor

Cleanness

There was no reception when I arrived and the instructions for the self check in was in German and no English translation. I had to rely on a by passer from the neighbourhood for translation and support. There was no shower gel and the dispenser never refilled although housekeeping was done twice during my stay. The pillows were badly fitted and the blankets were small. None staff I have was able to communicate with me and this made my check in and out experience difficult and frustrating.

Good location, close to the centre. Clean and modern. Secure bike storage.

Got back at 10.30pm and key fob thing did not open the door. Banging on door etc. Finally got in after another guest arrived, although she had difficulty as well.

Great people, lovely breakfast and a place to park the car.

Nice and spacious room. Pet friendly with a little park just across the street and only a few minutes walk to the old town.

Parking is very difficult. When the hotel is fully booked, this could be a challenge.

Perfect location, easy to find, lovely staff, great room with large bathroom. Comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast, nice interior design.

There was nothing

Great location. Lovely helpfull staff.clean rooms.Reasonable price.Excellent restaurant . Good mattress.

Good location near to the centre of the old town

I chose this hotel because it offered parking, but there was no parking available and they were not particularly helpful guiding to alternate parking possibilities.

There is a room

Parking is very difficult. The room curtains cannot be completely closed, and you can see the street lights while lying in bedPeople are not friendly. When you ask if you can use dinner downstairs, the staff will just quickly wave you away and tell you there is no space even though you see several empty tablesThe stairs are very narrow and if you have a slightly larger suitcase it will be difficult to carry up the stairs

It was lovely and clean, spacious, the staff were very kind and polite

The room was big, clean, nice, quiet

Great location. Near the old city, which is worth a visit. The hotel looks old fashioned from the outside, but it is very nice renovated on the inside. Very nice and comfy rooms, excellent breakfast.

Great staff and rooms were excellent really good location

we liked its closeness to the centre and the fact it had a car park.

Our room was a little cramped with not much room around one side of the bed.

Amazing accommodation with super friendly staff. Great location and superb value for money. Absolutely recommend to book breakfast, was also very good!

Very nice and clean hotel. I enjoyed my 3 night stay there. My room was spacious and well equipped. Next time in Wetzlar, count me in.

That's a little thing only that doesn't change my overall rating, but i wish I had a shower curtain.

Breakfast was not exceptional, but okay.

I had to leave one day earlier because of an illness at my appointment. Still, I could not cancel the last day - or get it validated for later use. I was told, that this is so because of booking.com's margins.

Clean, modern, central location

No reception when we arrived. Door closed, no answer from phone number provided. Another guest found our key for us

Great location right next to the beautiful Rosengarten and above the Altstadt. Room was modern and clean with large opening windows. Staff were kind and helpful.

Nothing, it was great and good value for money.

Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice and staff member making sure it was well stocked.

Room on 2nd floor and no lift.

We had a lovely and well-designed room, the reception is nice and willing to help us navigating the town. The restaurant on the ground floor is also very good.

No air-con
