Best Western Hotel Wetzlar

The hotel has extremely thin walls, making it easy to hear every word from the neighboring room. When the guests next door turned on their TV, the noise will disrupt your sleep. Not ideal for anyone seeking rest.

Breakfast was great, plenty of different foods to choose from and it was nice to sit out on the terrace. The room was big enough and the location of the hotel is great. You can walk quickly to the center of town. The parking garage was a plus.

The mattress was too soft.

Parking directly below the hotel. The given room was realy quiet, well equipped, clean and with a modern shower. The breakfast is also good. Last but not least, a fast checkout at the end.

The beds were ok, but I would have prefered to have harder pillows, since the onces provided were all too soft.

Convenient location, just off the cycle path we were following. Good room and breakfast. Good facilities for secure bike storage. More tha adequater for short stays.

There was no airco, and the room was very warm. Window opened, which helpen, but then too much traffic noise. Other rooms on the back of the building would be OK, I think. So my advice is to ask for a room away from the front which looks out on a busy road.

This hotel was very quiet and in a Lovely area. The BEST part of the stay was their ample Breakfast Buffet, which had everything most people would eat for breakfast and the quality of the food was good.

Thinking there was no AC in the room

Yes I thought the breakfast was of excellent quality. Also the staff very freindly and helpful.

Great location, clean rooms, not big but it has everything you need, really cool wardrobe. Bathroom is nice.Breakfast I can recomend, great job Western hotel. We were with bycicles and in garage is place where you can park it.Hotel is direct on bicycles route. Also hotel is 10 minutes walking from old town

Wi-fi was really bad

The breakfast is very good, the location of the hotel is also very good, only 10 minutes walk to the old town. Wetzlar is beautiful! This place is worth to come again.

We were on a long and tiring trip, in the summer with temperatures around 30. There is no air conditioning in the hotel so for a night, we opened the window and try to relax, which was rather diffcult as there was too hot and too noisily. For us, never ever again at the summer time.... It is hotel for the winter.

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, and breakfast staff were very friendly. Nothing else was good about our stay.

Was listed as having a view - both landmark and water. From our room, all we could see was scaffolding, which seemed to be the emergency exit?, leaves of a huge tree, and the tents over the outdoor breakfast area advertising beer. Also visible: the poorly maintained yard and a defunct swimming pool. The neighborhood felt a bit sketchy. Only one luggage cart, and it looked like one that someone had left behind, as it was like the tiny ones they use at the airport. No good place to pull up to check-in. We headed to the parking garage and rang the bell, where the person didn't have our reservation in the system and didn't want to let us in. We ended up having to reserve the room directly with them in order to stay. No staff are on site at night - good luck if something goes wrong or you need help. When you leave the garage you pull the cord to open the gate. AC didn't work. When you open the window, it blocks the bed. We ended up opening the window and door to the hallway to get a cross breeze to cool off the room.

Nothing really. Was forced to stay one night due to distance to destination.

Not in a good location. Was told that to upgrade to a quiet room overlooking a river I would have to pay an extra 10 Euros. No river to be seen. Only a couple of dirty empty swimming pools with stagnant water in them. Lots of overgrown weeds around the place. Not a very nice sight from the bedrooms or from the outside breakfast area. In addition not even a fan or portable airconditioner in the room which was very hot. The window could not be left open at night since there was a walkway outside the windows allowing easy access into the room through any window.

The breakfast was very good, it was nice with coffee on the table.

I wish there were possibilities to buy some snacks or chips with the drinks in the evening.

rooms are not soundproofed and our bed was comfortable but slightly inclined (not a big deal, we slept in the other direction)
