B&B Hotel Wetzlar

The time that the breakfast was served ended too early. We were not able to go to breakfast any of the days, even though I paid for them.

The rooms are just so small. It was a challenge to navigate around all our suitcases. Also, it would have been nice to have a real king sized bed.

Poor staff without sense of customer. No willingness to help a customer stuck with a parking issue.

You need to book the parking spot, which wasn't clear before I made the reservation.

All hotel is nice. Rooms were clean and spacious. Nice view over the river.

Check in process could be a little easier if I was told the guests names are required for the rooms beforehand. I was not prompted on booking.app to fill details and when we arrived I have spent nearly 1hr to check in and it was already around midnight. When I tried to call the number provided it was only in German and automatic service. Parking is small. It was not full but barriers were closed. So we were a little disappointed we had to leave the car away from hotel.

Comfortable and clean room. Check-in went smooth, no check-out. Receptionist came with me immediately to sort out an issue I was having with the room.

An automatized check-in is not the same as a 24hour reception. I was lucky I needed the receptionist only during the times reception was open. It'd have been a lot more hassle otherwise...

Bedding and pillows weren’t overly comfortable or good quality but decent for a short stay. Floors could be better cleaned

The room was decently clean, windows were dirty, however. The view was dismal so there was nothing to see anyway. Hallways had an aroma of stale cigarettes, thankfully the room didn’t have. Breakfast was just fine, quite limited and nothing special.

Cleanliness. Parking space was full, and the reception did not want to offer us an alternative, so we parked at the shopping centre. IF YOU ARE LEAVING ON A SUNDAY, DO NOT PARK IN THE SHOPPING CENTRE NEARBY, YOU CANNOT GET YOUR CAR OUT.

Parking is not free, Breakfast not worth the money, considering you have a Mall across the street.

For a family of three it was very comfortable and clean enough.

I could use a mini refrigerator.

The setup is pretty old and used, not worth the price. Probably it’s about Wetzlar in general, not about the hotel.

We had problems with the checkin. We reserved for 3 nights but we missed the first one and we arrived in the second day but the reservation was cancelled without knowing about this. We did another booking.

24h check in is very helpful.Nice and clean room.Friendly and helpful staff.Breakfast looked very nice.

There was only one parking spot left when we arrived, disabled one..We were offered to park somewhere else, over a bridge, but we wanted to have the car close by.Eventually we were allowed to park in the disabled spot as noone was using it. That was a bit disappointing .

At check-in, you get a code instead of a key. That code opens all the doors (room, hotel lobby at night). Check-out is not necessary.Very good and complete breakfast.Quiet room, with a view towards the river. Confortable beds.The shape and size of the shower cabin, quality of the pipes and the shower gel made for the best shower experience in my week-long road trip.

Heavy doors, that make loud noises if you're not careful, and are hard to operate for a pre-teen that is used to be able to easily walk in and out of a hotel. No need to hit the gym, just open and close a door a few times a day and you're good.
