Great location, easy automated check-in, good comfortable beds, spacious room with seating area, great breakfast.

I liked everything except the way the heating malfunction on Dec. 18 was handled. No warm water. "The technicians are working on it", I was told when I called the receptionist. I was invited to a reunion at noon and left without being able to shower and wash my hair. At 65 years of age, a big deal. Things happen, I know that.But a small refund or a meal on the house would have been a nice gesture. Nothing. I hope they consider it in the future.

Hotel Bürgerhof is a comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms and good beds. Breakfast and dinner are served in the restaurant as a buffet. Not very extensive but sufficient and tasty. Great place to explore Wetzlar and the surrounding area. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The number of parking spaces is limited. The reception is not always manned due to a lack of staff.

I have been staying at the Hotel Burgerhof for many years when visiting Wetzlar so it's a real tradition!

Arrived at 10 pm after a flight from UK and a 1 hour drive - no manned reception, key card from a machine - no heating on in room , -2 Deg C + snow outside , no kettle or drinks in room and the only way to get a drink was from an old vending machine that took Euros coins ( cold drinks only ) I only had Euro notes .. the town was closed up - so a night without a hot drink until morning. Decor 1970,s - early 1980's, Duvet cover smelt of sweaty feet, swapped for one on next bed in my room, that was better. Furniture worn and aged. Bathroom clean but tired - liquid soaps where non branded and looked industrial quality and I didn't use. Booked for 2 nights : Didn't stop next night - no one in reception in morning either to make a complaint....wont stop again - dire hotel....... very disappointing for price charged..... How to improve ? Turn on heating when you know you have guests, have a kettle in the room with a selection of drinks or have access to the bar area and hot water / kettle - drinks available.

Hotel in a city center. 5 min. walk to main square. Automatic check in.Reception & breakfast in hotel on next street (2 min walk). It's not a problem.

The window is damaged and stuck closed with tape - when the wind blows makes a noise and probably needs repair

Hotel has seen better days but perfectly comfortable. Coordinates from Booking.com took you to the back entrance so took us a while to find intercom to reception.

The Hotel was OK. Bed comfy. Breakfast reasonable.

The room was out of the 80’s and could do with some renovating,The reception and bar were supposed to be open until 22:00 but no one was there from 19:00. So no wine to end the evening :-(

We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment so it was very specious and comfortable. Beautiful view from the window at the top floor. Clean and tidy. Blackout curtains and blinds help to sleep easily. Very good location close to beautiful old town centre. Very good breakfast in charming restaurant with good choice of cold meat, cheeses, cereals, sweet spreads, bread, juices and tea. Hot eggs and bacon also available. Very nice decor throughout the hotel. Quiet area and generally calm place to stay conveniently located to explore local area, especially Wetzlar. Highly recommend!

The hotel is clean and comfy and is a great location to explore the town. There is a good selection of hot and cold choices at breakfast and a pot of coffee per table.

It's a good location, close to the old town. And a really nice breakfast with decent options despite being quite small, in the rustic and very pleasant breakfast room / restaurant. It is also well priced.

The hotel just looks a little tired these days and with the restaurant being closed now (post COVID) lacks some of the bustle and community of a hotel. This didn't bother me too much on this occasion as I was travelling with three other colleagues, but had I been travelling alone, it would have been less pleasant.

Good hotel. Parking. Room well equipped, Bathtub in bathroom. Good continental breakfast. Very good value for money.

It was a nightmare trying to book out - sent to their sister hotel and then back again - wasted nearly an hour! Not good enough.

Good location for the bustops and short walk into Wetzlar center. Good decent breakfast. TV reception was limited and poor signal.

Reception was closed throughout my stay and check in was dealt with at the neighboring hotel 50m away. No bottled water in room, no safe.

In the middle of old town Germany--just lovely. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Room was comfortable and fairly spacious.

Check-in was at the other hotel, so going back and forth with luggage is not easy. Old carpet in the rooms and even a bucket in the hallway for leaky ceiling. Could use some updating.
