Location quiet. Quaint. Great views. Very easy ferry access. Wonderful restaurant, amazing dinner.

Hard to drive to on narrow road

The hotel was very clean and the staff was great!

Though the location was beautiful, the hotel was in an inconvenient location and far away from the closest bus station. The shortest way to get to the bus, you had to climb steep steps and it was very difficult with luggage. Also the check out time was at 8am and I wanted to leave earlier but had to wait for check out. Wish they had a hotel key drop off

We only spent one night at Hotel Ristorante Vapore located overlooking Lake Como. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there. Our room had a view of the lake and the bed was very comfortable. The staff in the hotel were very friendly. We ate dinner there that evening - very good food and a kind and friendly waiter. Breakfast in the morning was simple but filling.

Wish the weather had been better because the view of Lake Como can be quite beautiful.

The location was amazing , really liked the lake view from our window and the balcony ! They had free parking which was also good

The location is fantastic; directly on the lake and next to a lovely beach.The people running the hotel are so friendly and welcoming.The hotel is immaculately clean.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly, the nicest we encountered in all of Italy. The view from our room was incredible. They recommended their restaurants and restaurants in the vicinity to eat at as we came in starving. The parking was free!

The room had air conditioning however it is a portable machine. There were ants and spiders in the room, but it is near a lake. There was mold in the shower. But the location and view of this hotel made all of this worth it.

Drive to location was a challenge.

The view was just amazing. Our room’s main window opened to lake Como. Clean room and excellent patio for the hotel restaurant. Lots of amenities that you don’t have such as swimming and boating facilities. Not a lot to walk around but more of relaxation station.

It’s not really an issue with the hotel but the drive to it is not for the faint of heart due to the narrow streets. Again that is a small price to pay for the excellent location of the hotel. We would stay again even with the hairy drive.

The views of Lake Como are astounding, so it’s a special place to stay. The more isolated location, away from the crowds of Como and Bellagio, is a relaxing benefit—but also know that ferries to and from Faggeto are few and far between, and the road getting there is a bit intense. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good.

It’s indeed a two-star hotel, so you get what you pay for—for example, the bath towels are old and rough, as are the bed sheets; both should be updated. The restaurant was underwhelming, based on the good reviews I read, but perhaps we mis-ordered.

Beautiful views and very quiet! Excellent staff w friendly service! Great place for relaxing but have to take bus or boat to find other places to eat or things to do. Nice restaurant on property!

Difficult to take bus from Como and know where to get off the stairs leading down with luggage was a nightmare. Best to take the boat to the hotel but times are a bit fare apart.

They should have warned us every restaurant closes on Tuesday. We were basically stranded after last boat drop off so ate snacks for dinner. Had we known ahead we could have planned. It should be written on the introduction card about restaurant hours.

Perfect place for holiday near lake. Nice view from room and very peaceful place.

The place was clean and the staff was so friendly, the room was spacious and had a lovely view of lake. The tiramisu from the restaurant downstairs was one of my favourites from my whole trip and we tried at least 10 tiramisu. The breakfast had a good variety and was stocked up regularly. The pick up for the boat was a one minute walk away so was very handy to see the other towns around the lake.

Our room was on the first floor which over looked the carpark so it would have been nice to have curtains that were not sheer. There is no shops close by so make sure to buy some drink and snack for the room on your days out.

Stopped here en route to Italy by car, very much off the beaten track. Nice location beside lake, peaceful. Pleasant welcome. good room with all facilities, bed very comfortable. Very good meal, good breakfast.

Reaching hotel by car was a bit difficult, had to go through Como during rush hour and lakeside road to hotel was narrow and winding. Decor a little dated. Service in restaurant a little too formal, price of meal a little higher than we would have expected.

The hotel was in a nice calm location right front of the lake with a great view. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a standard spread and was good. They will make eggs of your choice too.
