Hotel S.Maria

The location is fantastic. It’s in walking distance to the next little villages north and south with all the restaurants and supermarkets if you need. Great bike running walking trail right in front of lake/ door. Could charge our EV on the property for reasonable charge fees

The location is amazing, right on the water and our room had a great view of the lake. The breakfast was really good and the owner (the woman) was super attentive and brought our cappuccinos right away and was always so friendly. Tomasso (not sure I spelled it right) is THE NICEST staff member! He was so helpful and kind with everything we needed and inquired about. He worked the front desk and was a waiter at dinner and in the Bar off the patio. Truly a hard worker and never seemed annoyed by anything we asked about.

The air conditioning had a limit you could only turn it down to (22 degrees) and it was sweltering when we were there. (Europe is experiencing a horrible heat wave this summer). It was never really cool enough in our room to be comfortable and opening the balcony door did not help since it was so hot outside, so it was really hard to sleep in the heat. Also, it would be nice if the smokers were separated somehow during meals because people would just light up right next to you while you're eating and for those of us who do not smoke, it's really gross to eat with smoke blowing in your face. Last thing, the dark-haired girl that worked in the Bar was rude to us the entire time we were there, every time we ordered from the bar. I get it, everyone hates America right now but maybe judge people on a case by case basis since we are also angry at our government and we didn't deserve to be treated so rudely. Or maybe she just didn't like us, I don't know, but she made us feel like a burden for asking for anything.

There are not enough power points. There are only 2 points next to the beds.

Wonderful place. Run by a very nice family. Great breakfast with the best crostata I've ever had. In a lot of places, they say you have a view but it's often from one side of the balcony or out the bathroom window. But here you look right over beautiful lake Garda. I would come back.

Great location as the hotel is on the shore of the lake and you don't have to cross the road to get to the beach. A private beach and beach chairs are enough for everyone. Great suite with a balcony and wonderful view of Lake Garda.

The hotel's target audience is German-speaking tourists, so it should be reckoned that the dinner Menu is only available in German (the situation was saved by Google Translate). Staff also give more useful information tourists who speak German. For example, on the last day we stayed, we just found an information booklet in a room that indicated that the hotel was also offering a boat. Of course, we hadn`t had time to use it.You also have to take into account that after 23:00 it is not allowed to stay on the hotel's private beach or on the balcony, as it disturbs the rest of the other guests. The hotel door is locked in the evening.

Delightful little slice of heaven right by the lake. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Really loved the lady who served us breakfast. Awesome views from our room also.

Fabulous location..

Poor shower.. also unfortunately we couldn’t have a room with a balcony but we did have a lovely lake view.

Stress

After arrival Lady in bar did not get my point and called me rude. I was looking for office. There i found a man in office, he asked me first question, if i am russian!!! WTF. My son felt scared, that they will do something to us, as they think we are russians. Even if we would be, so what??!! I understand, it is war, but there was second war already right? Italiens side? Hmmm. We all are people. Not in this hotel but. My opinion. Never ever again.

Location was prime to the lake.

The hourse for dinner where horrible and they lock the building not letting you in or out.

The hotel is near the lake. Private parking is included in the price of the hotel. Friendly staff. Nice place. Very good breakfast. 10-15 minutes walking distance to several restaurants. Best regards to the owners and employees of the hotel.

The breakfast was outstanding every morning. The location was perfectly located next to a kite surfing school/shop, which was the main reason for my visit at this location. There was a beautiful lakefront view from my room and everywhere around the area was very easily accessible by a short walk or bicycle ride.

Short vacation organized to do windsurfing. I chose the hotel because there is a surf school. The location is really lovely, the friendly staff (free upgrade of the single room with a double balcony with lake view and also granted late check out) and the rich and tasty breakfast. I didn't use the pool or had dinner so I can not express a judgment on that. I'll come back
