    Pros +

    • Phenomenal location. Amazing breakfast, they aren’t kidding when they say it is exceptional. Nice rooms. Can’t beat the view. Excellent customer service.
    • We were just there for a stopover coming back from Sardinia, and I had booked it because it was fairly cheap and we wanted to have a quick look at the lake before we drove on. But on arriving there we absolutely fell in love with the place! The staff is extremely friendly, from the helpful receptionist to the breakfast cook who is also quite a good singer ;), everyone was very nice and seemed to love working there. The room was, while a bit dated in terms of furniture, clean and extremely comfortable and, my absolute highlight, featuring an old but spotlessly clean bathroom with a decently sized shower (not one of those modern atrocities apparently built by a sci-fi set designer in a fever dream that puts the whole place underwater after a two minute shower), and EVERYTHING WORKED, from the spigots to the lights, a fact that has become pretty unusual these days. The breakfast was great, and the view and surroundings spectacularly beautiful. All in all, a great and charming place to stay that makes you feel at home in every conceivable way!
    • Breakfast with great variety: multiple cheeses and hams, multiple sweet options, fresh fruits and vegetables. Lake view as promised, due to the structure of the building, some rooms have better view than others. Private parking available, outside and in the garage (nice and cool in the summer), not possible to reserve, you park where you like (if there is space). Apparently they also have instructions for where to park if they run out of space (but in my case, there was space in their parking). Rooms are a bit dated, and so is the AC, but it worked well. Ac is a big plus, as otherwise one would need to keep the window open and the rooms (with the lake view) face directly to the road with busy traffic. Private jetty at the lake is very nice.

    Cons -

    • For the price, no complaints
    • There was absolutely nothing not to like.
    • I found the matters a bit hard for my liking. There was weird smell in the room, maybe it is the wooden furniture, but after a while I got used to it and didn’t notice anymore. The ladder on the jetty looks in need of cleaning / painting. The bottom part of it looks either covered with sea weed or something, not sure. It does the job though.

Big room, great lake views, amazing breakfast. Free bike rental was a great touch.

    Room is a bit dated.

Staff were very friendly. The food is amazing!! Pizza was just incredible and breakfast spot on.

Pool looked better in the pictures

They gave us better room with a view, cool, also there was a guy who helped us to park a car, for us it was not needed, but for others maybe really helpful, thanks. We loved donats with the filling at the breakfast!

A little bit oldschool, needs renovation.

Good view of the lake. Nice handwash and shampoo. Breakfast okay (gigantic Nutella dispenser!)

Clean but felt quite run down/old. Sheets looked clean, but no covers on the duvets. Very thin walls between rooms. Bathroom light only switched on by running the hair-dryer. Shower did not drain quickly enough - ended up standing in an inch of lukewarm water. Lobby felt like we were in a student union bar/frat house. Our 13 year old complimented their marketing team - the photos are very flattering. Pool was closed but is in a corner of the car park fronting onto a fairly busy road. Need a car to access restaurants etc - towns nearby are lovely

the staff were lovely so helpful and friendly

the location really needed a car

Very nice hotel with us on parking lot which is important when traveling by car. Friendly staff and great breakfast.

    No complaints, highly recommend.

    5LawrencePosted on: 9-17-2024

Breakfast was buffet style and was more extensive than just continental style, a selection of cooked items was available, fresh bread was a little disappointing though, as was a freshly squeezed orange juice, two types of stuff that was orange in colour was on tap, but neither was the real thing. Easy access to the coastal cycle path. Friendly staff.

We were on the second floor on the right hand end as you look at the hotel with your back to the lake. More than 50% of the lake view is of an electrical sub station and associated concrete pole. The bed was broken. The wardrobe was broken. The shower was mouldy. There was not secure bike storage, we were advised to chain our bikes to the railings out front. You are in ribbon development between towns, if you want a choice of menu be prepared to travel. The soundproofing was not good between our neighbours; on the same floor or above.

Good views, room was okay, clean and traditional.

Bus required for restaurants, loud music, quite expensive for drinks etc. Breakfast was poor, wasps and flies over food, not much choice.

    10RobertPosted on: 8-18-2024

The staff was very friendly, amazing breakfast, the room was clean, we enjoyed a ride on the free bikes. Parking in front of the hotel.

price for alcohol was higher than expected.

    Great spot on the lake

Noisy rooms, not walking distance to any restaurant

Location was fantastic! The pool area was great and never had to wait for a sun lounger. The staff were very helpful. Parking is good. Breakfast is fabulous.

The property is dated. Toilet constantly broken- flush not working or constantly flushing despite repair. Floor 2 woken before 7 every morning due to kitchen staff hoovering or working/ chatting. Cant pay for drinks/ food as you go- bill given at the end.

    5AnnaPosted on: 7-31-2024

It was clean and the staff was helpful and nice.

We heard much noise from the next room.

    5TamásPosted on: 7-29-2024

The view and the breakfast was fantastic.

Too noisy, every morning at 7.30 they started the vacuum cleaner. The road was too close to the building and was too loud. The shutter didn't work.

Great service, very nice and helpful staff, clean rooms and good air conditioning.

    10LiamPosted on: 7-22-2024

Staff were excellent, Simone makes brilliant cocktails and has many specials! Room was clean and spacious, felt looked after at the hotel and breakfast was brilliant each morning, lovely views of the lake too

There was nothing we didn’t like
