Situated right on the lake, the views are fantastic, and the physical hotel itself is upscale, clean, and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel's location offers easy walking access to the town for off-property experiences. This is definitely a destination property for those wanting to visit the Lake District! I would absolutely stay here again.

While the in-room bathrooms are OK, I would prefer a nicer bathroom along with more shelf space.

Nothing !! Only its location on the lake.We were supposed to stay there 3 nights and left after the 1st. Night.

All! The room was very! Basic, dirty and A/C not working. Breakfast was terrible. Dead bugs were on the floor

Bar/lounge at the lake, swimming pool too (had even entrance to the lake for swimming etc.)Just situated so beautifully and close to town.

The location is great. We got a parking on the ground level which was very fortunate. When we arrived after 4:00 pm, one of our rooms was not ready but hotel front desk and cleaning staff worked hard to make it ready so we could move in. Breakfast dining area is great with the view of the lake. Breakfast offers many choices.

The insulation of the rooms are not very good. When other passed by we could hear pretty much every word they were saying. Room temperature was centrally controlled at 23.5 degrees which could be a little lower.

Location, pool and terrace are fabulous

The rooms are so basic they are almost spartan. No tea or coffee making facilities, no water in the room, no real glasses, just paper cups. Felt more like a motel in the rooms, very different to the public spaces.

The all staff are friendly and also helpful. The breakfast was very delicious and the location was also very good.

We couldn’t watch the TV in the room.

Very good service, location was uncompitable! The pool and the lake were simply healing us with tranquility beyond expectations

Small room, a little dark, 10€ parking for a night, guests are asked to leave the car keys at the reception.

Location and small balcony facing across the lake was superb! Breakfast was great -- restaurant in the hotel was classy.

Great location! Terrific staff. The man at the front desk gave us a late checkout and was super obliging. Nice hotel. The room itself is done up, but is painted all brown and therefore could definitely use a painting - and a bigger TV. As other reviews have said it would be great to lose the shower curtain too. Breakfast was decent enough and it was very nice to look out at the lake in the breakfast room. Drinks on the terrace are lovely to do. We would definitely stay again.

Restaurant. Not good as mentioned. Food was not great and one dish was not eatable.

It would have been nice to be able to make to or coffee in the room.Gluten free options in the restaurant were very poor.

Its location was ideal and the views from the room were superb. The sense of history is evident throughout the hotel.

The absence of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The shower over a bath with a plastic curtain that had a habit of clinging to the person was not enjoyable.

Location on the lake was lovely. Staff were accommodating, professional, and friendly.

Bathroom was not as clean as expected and bed linen had not been changed.

A great hotel overlooking the lake. lovely location for drinks and to chill. was very close to town with lovely wine bars and resteraunts. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was lovely lots of choice.

A good location next to the lake.Two very helpful ladies on reception.

Transfer from the station didn’t show up. No apology. Room was boiling because air con broken. Given a new smaller room. Had to drag our luggage down the corridor no assistance given. General manager didn’t seem to care. No towels at the pool 3 of the days we were there.

The location is great.

The bathroom was poor. It had an extremely cramped shower.There was no coffee and tea facility in the room.

Location was amazing. Breakfast was excellent. Pool had ducks in it and duck poo around edge! Staff were very helpful. Orta is an amazing place and this hotel could also be amazing if someone looked after the garden areas - all a bit unkempt in places but othwise a perfect spot
