Very central parking provided friendly staff
Room facility could be improved...coat rack for long coats mirror in bedroom with small dressing table shower in room looks great but water every where.
Nice, clean and central
Superb location and spacious room
The breakfast was awful
Central location, overlooking the square. Underground parking nearby (€20 per day), under ten minutes walk from the hotel. Fabulous breakfast that caters well for all tastes. It included meats, cheese, vegetables, fresh fruit, cakes, yoghurt, freshly made coffee by the staff… you name it! Eclectic decor, which was a creative mix of traditional & modern. Separate WC to shower. Spacious shower (in the bedroom, but with a glass screen). Comfy bed in spacious bedroom. Very helpful staff. Dog friendly (€10 per night).
The hotel is not clearly marked at present. We finally found it: accessed via their Cafe, called ‘Picnic’ on the main square. As can be expected in a room overlooking the beautiful central square, we did experience some noise from the late night bar nearby. However, we would definitely stay here again, as everything else suited us perfectly.
The location is good since it is in the city centre and there are nice bars and restaurants.
The communication with the hotel was pretty poor, we asked for info on how to get to the property, how to use the free parking and if possible to have breakfast before the 8.30 (a bit late compared to the usual 7.00 am of most properties) but we just got a reply with a map of the city and no answers to our questions. When we got in the room the lady that showed us around (really nice person) started the air-conditioning since the room war really hot. Unfortunately a few hours later the temperature in the room was still really high (of course it doesn't work really well) and we had to sleep with the windows open......the room cooled down a bit but the hotel is just above a night bar full of people till 4 am in the morning... .The cleaning was not really good.... We found a used razor and used soap in the shower....Apart from that, everything else was good..... :-(
The staff and facilities were excellent and we enjoyed the visit enormously! So much to do and see!
No Parking near the hotel. Carrying 40 pound luggage bags to the hotel was a real challenge!Finding the hotel location was also a challenge in such a vast venue. Better signposting would be a great help.
We had a really great stay at Aracoelie hotelFirstly, the staff was very friendly. We had an important phone call before check-in time, and Eliana was very kind and helpful and did everything in her power to make it possible.Furthermore, the hotel is located very central at a cosy square. We stayed in a superior double room and the room was very nice, specious and clean (We loved the balcony!!!). Also the breakfast was delicious and extensive. Thank you for the amazing night
Excellent location. The walk from the station is definitely not easy especially with suit cases. Also picking up key from another location was not ideal. The staff were all very friendly and spoke good English.
The walk from the station. You could even say it was dangerous. There are little or no foot paths. Very hard if your not young and fit while carrying suitcases.
It's located in the main square by the lake.
Having the shower in the room. The water goes everywhere.
The location in the main piazza of Orta San Giulio was fantastic. Our little balcony overlooked the piazza and the lake. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. Very unique having an enormous shower in the room rather than the bathroom. The breakfast was a bonus, and had a large variety of fresh foods. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.
The floor got very wet from the walk-in shower.
amazing position, very comfortable. Breakfast buffet offer was really good.
Not crystal clean as we would have liked but it was ok! The italian girl managing rooms and breakfast at Aracoeli was so impolite and rude that made as really uncomfortable and makes me really doubt about wanting to go back.
very friendly staff, great location
rooms need work - shower didn’t drain, lighting inadequate, no table or chair or luggage rack, shower water adjustments didn’t work well, no bedside reading lamp, bed had side rails so could get in and out by climbing from the end of the bed, I could go on and on. nice “quirky” concept but it needs a lot of just basic amenities. also - stairwell needs a light and bannisters! it was unsafe! as was the hot water - could get scalding hot!
Modern, but on traditional area... Well balanced architecture
Nothing to complian...
perfect location, so clean, staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.
mattress may need updating
The location is just PERFECT in the center of Piazza Motto but that's actually the only thing we liked about the hotel. The breakfast which was included in the price was actually also a good thing.
We paid a lot of money just to be sure that our hotel has an AC, because it was a very hot month. When we arrived they didn't tell us that the AC system in the hotel is not working. It was our surprise when we came back to the hotel after chilling around in the city around 10pm that the room wasn't cool. We called for the reception and the only thing they said is that the AC is not working and they can't do anything about it and that we have to open the windows because at night the temperature will drop to 20 degrees celcius. We felt like they just HIT us in our face!!! We checked out in the morning and checked in an other hotel. We will never ever come back again. Not even because of the AC, but more because how the lady treated us.
Passable
need a code to enter the nght and we did'nt have this code. Wait for 1h in front of the hotel
