    Pros +

    • Clean room with coffee maker. Good breakfast. Walking distance from the old city.
    • Good location, close to the lake & walkable to Orta San Giulio. Nice selection of complimentary mini bar items.
    • The underground parking was excellent—private and secure, making it very convenient. The hotel's location is easily accessible, which is a definite plus. However, the room felt a bit dated, and I was disappointed to find there was no blanket provided for the night.

    Cons -

    • No refrigerator in the room. Hotel's parking cost extra charge. Poor garden.
    • The breakfast options weren’t great, but maybe due to being out of season & very few guests. The lift always seemed to have the smell of wet dog when using, which was rather unpleasant when using.
    • The toilette was very small, not properly cleaned and old sanitary.

The room is good size, clean, quiet, very economically furnished, nothing extra.. Balcony overlooks the nice inner yard. The bathroom is rather small. It was ok for one night sleep. The big benefit is the garage located under the building.

It is a long walk to the old city. There is not many breakfast places around. It is rather overpriced.

Only one night and had to leave early to catch a train but Staff went out of their way to help us , providing an early breakfast we could access and an alternate route to the station so we weren’t walking on the road as we had backpacks. Close to restaurants which were excellent

Bit tricky getting there from the station. Walking on the windy roads didn’t feel safe.

    8KamilPosted on: 9-30-2024

Selection of food over the breakfast was very good, room was clean and well organized.

There is no real pavement from the hotel to the city center

    9RoyPosted on: 9-20-2024

Close to station. Pleasant walk would town.

    Bed was uncomfortable

    9GarthPosted on: 9-11-2024

Very helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent breakfast, comfortable with adjacent outdoor patio area and good value.

    Some early morning traffic noise.

Location, friendly staff, elevator from the garage good for people on wheelchair and room for disable.

The main entrance for the reception is not accessible for wheelchair and the ramp for the garage is too steep for a wheelchair alone...

Very friendly staff. They went over and above to help in any way they could. Great location, and a pleasant, shady walk into town, which was a surprising gem. Room was spotless and the hotel was a wonderful, quirky decor, that we enjoyed very much.

    Can't think of anything!

Position of the hotel is perfect, staff is very friendly and the room was nice and clean.

The main entrance of the hotel is not wheelchair accessible but it is from the garage.Just the garage ramp is a bit too steep if the wheelchair is alone or not equipped with a motor.

There was a little garden/patio area right off our room; very pleasant. The personnel were great. The breakfasts were super~ great selections of everything! Hoping to return next year bringing our friends with us!

If we could have stayed longer!

Great location. It takes 10 minutes of walk to the train station and 20 minutes to the town square. Easy walk to the Sacri Monti. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood, away from the tourist attractions, making it a perfect place to have a relaxed vacation. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great.

We had such a lovely stay. They were so helpful and the room was comfortable, shower worked well, it was a great location to visit Villa Crespi for dinner

    Nothing, we were very happy

Easy, simple, clean, 3 star hotel. Nothing fancy but good value. Underground parking. Easy access on foot to old town, lake and Sacro Monte.

    8GiulioPosted on: 9-11-2023

Good parking facility and easy access to the rooms by elevator. Beds are comfy and breakfast is quite rich!

Bathroom in our room seemed to have no suction fan and no windows.A dog started barking from the window of the room next to ours at 6:50 am: that was very annoying!

    5RonaPosted on: 8-11-2023

The lady who checked us in spoke several languages and was very honest and friendly.

The water pressure in the shower was either too much and the shower wouldn't stay in one place or it was very slow and temperature very difficult to get right as either scalding hot or freezing cold. The hangers in the wardrobe couldn't be removed to put things on and it was very difficult to reach up to put clothes on the hangers.

    6AlfiyaPosted on: 8-9-2023

It was clean and comfortable for overnight stay.

The shower was super small, Im thin and I could barely shower without any move. My husband struggled get in the cabin. Unsatisfied with breakfast, you need to let them know in the evening if you are going to have a breakfast; yet it’s very basic, no choice

    8DorisPosted on: 6-21-2023

very comfortable, great beds, good paid parking. Quiet, lovely garden, walkable into the village or Sacre Monte, if you are somewhat fit.

should explain the parking access for when you arrive. you can’t access it without a card, and you can’t comfortably stay on the road for check in since it’s busy and narrow.

The staff- just so nice and helpful. Helped reserve a cab for an early departure, and when bemoaning the lack of available fruit gave me an orange. The best! They knew about the town, where to rent bikes, best routes etc. So helpful. My room had a lovely balcony and was spacious. Everything so clean and nice- made it a joy. So quiet, you can sleep with the French doors open and only hear church bells. Wonderful stay

I was surprised that they had no wine opener! Its Italy! They do not sell wine/beer (no doubt rules on that) and there is only a pub (closed on Wednesday I found out to my dismay) close. I think if you have a car it would be a fabulous location. Coming by train it was a bit more restrictive in terms of dining or finding fruit.
