Front door lock was poor and needed immediate attention which it didn’t get until we chased the staff again

Central location, although not facing the lake.

No reception, the front door must be locked by tenants, no view (let alone a lake view), no breakfast on site, constant noise in the room by an unknown device (and no one to tell it to), A/C requires reset for every operation, hot tub did not work.Only if there is no other choice.

The hotel has a great atmosphere and it’s good value for money. Very central location in Orta San Giulio. Good wifi connection inside our room.

Beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean room and within perfect walking distance of all there is to enjoy in Orta San Giulio.

Staff were friendly, beds were comfortable, location was good, 2 mins away from the city centre with tons of restaurants.

Best location possible. Very quiet! Not in the main square and main avenue where the crowd is, but 2 minute walk from the center

Old and needing some update.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us, it was less than a minute walk to the main square.

Checking in at the partner hotel was easy enough but I did struggle finding the locations of both hotels on arrival, as there are a lot of side streets going down the hill. More a me problem really though!

Great location. Very quiet, with private courtyard and lovely lounge.

The reception staff on arrival were most unhelpful. Absolutely no information about breakfast provided - apparently it is available on the terrace and reservations are encouraged. We booked a room with 2 single beds but it was a double on arrival. The staff indicated that we had to rearrange the beds ourselves which also meant moving other furniture. Quilt and blanket provided was for one bed only - full marks to the cleaner who rectified this the next day.

Great location, directly in the city centre but quiet.Comfortable and large rooms.Suggested for cyclists staying one or more nights in the region.

No bike garage in the facility. But possibility of putting the bike in the inner garden.Just few choices at breakfast and served in a separate facility from the rooms structure. To be taken into account if you are in the area for hiking or cycling and you need a big breakfast in the morning.

Stylish period room in a quiet, vehicle-free backstreet, a 2 minute walk from the main plazza/port. Fabulous shops including a wonderful breakfast cafe, The Palace, and a lovely family restaurant Ca'Mea, both a minute away on foot. A great base to unwind.Note, that this is a satellite building, with superb staff located at the Leon D'Oro Hotel in the main Plazza.

Parking is at the top of the village sevetal minutes walk from the main area shops, port and hotels

Clean, well placed.

Shower over bath with no curtain wet all bathroom.

Perfect location. Spotlessly clean room. Not huge but authentic, and lovely balcony.

Great central location in historic building. Beautiful residents lounge. Very quiet and comfortable. Park in the multistory and it’s a very short (and signed) walk to Via Monti. Best for one of you to stay with the luggage outside the property and the other one walk the additional 200m to the Hotel. The staff will come back with you with the keys. Much easier than it sounds!

Nice location in the village

Coffee machine plug not ok, so we couldn't make some coffee in the morning before leaving. When we reported the issue at the reception located in another hotel, they didn't even offer one at the hotel's restaurant to compensate, which is not very nice, especially at the price of a coffee in Italy. So we had one, but in another place

Clean,comfortable,furnishings in keeping with the historic building it was in. Loved the historic building.
