Hotel Villa Aurora

Beautiful views from our hotel rooms (we had 2 for other family members) rooms were spotless and décor was charming. The breakfast room was the best I have had. The staff was the most helpful and all so nice. The restaurant food and wine very good.

I like to visit places that locals go. Lezzeno is amazing. And Vila Aurora was the best place!They have this incredible lake house and you can rent from kayaks to paddle board or go for water ski lessons.The breakfast is really good and complete.The restaurant from the hotel is really good bu I also recommend a Osteria 100m from there. It’s good to make reservations.We did a 2h boat tour to see the villas around. Staff were really helpful, they booked the restaurants for us and gave us all kinds of help. The room was super clean. We got the room w balcony, I recommend.

When I arrived I complained because my room was on top of the smoking area. They fix it with a sign of no smoking. And it was a great solution.

The location was amazing as was the amenities! The dock area was so nice and relaxing but also had a lot of fun activities. The restaurant was amazing and the food was delicious. The room could have been bigger as our luggage/bed took up most of it, but we really didn’t spend that much time in the room! The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would recommend staying here and/or buying a day pass to the dock.

I had an amazing stay - everything exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was outstanding — honestly the best I’ve ever had in Italy! The selection was excellent, freshly pressed juices, locally sourced butter and eggs, and even a great variety of breads.The hotel’s location is perfect, almost directly on the lake, and the restaurant sits right by the water, serving delicious meals. I didn’t even feel the need to try other restaurants in the area.The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers free sun loungers for guests as well as SUP boards and kayaks, which was a wonderful bonus.I would love to come back!

Hotel Villa Aurora was so quaint, pretty & clean. The views were spectacular. All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and polite. The complimentary breakfast was great. We enjoyed their restaurant for dinner both nights. The sun deck was fantastic, gorgeous, breathtaking views from anywhere in the place. Christian was an excellent awesome bartender!

The beach is amazing!! And the hotel facilities are perfect

The rooms, restaurant & waterfront activities were exceptional! This was the best vacation we’ve ever had. As big foodies we expected to travel around the area looking for restaurants (we did a few times) but every day returned to Hotel Aurora restaurant because the food was excellent! This was our honeymoon trip and staying here felt so comfortable and had a feeling of family with how friendly the staff was. We are avid wakesurfers and had a blast with the crew and also rented a boat for a day.All together highly recommend staying here! We will return soon :)

Nothing bad about this place! We just wish we had hotel souvenirs or something to take home to display from our stay.

Breakfast was excellent. The room was exceptionally clean. There were many offerings for water sport but our weather did not cooperate. It is difficult to walk along the coast roads of Lake Como because they are very narrow and there is no sidewalk. We drove our car to the hotel but then relied on the bus and ferry to explore the area.

Everyone was very accommodating. We really love our stay there and felt a bit sad to have to move on to our next stay which was Torino.

Absolutely fantastic! Best overall hotel I've stayed in Europe by far. Service, food, facilities, location.With a view of the Villa where starwars was filmed, an excellent "beach club" with rental boats to tour around the lake and a restaurant featuring the classic dishes of the region. Breakfast was complete, healthy and beautifully presented.

Not their fault but if you open the BB windows will be noisy as it's over the main street. But windows close and are sealed so no noise to sleep.

The staff was great and the breakfast was delicious. The lake view was really nice as well.

The beds and pillows weren't the most comfortable and the location wasn't ideal.

The location was wonderful. Very close to Bellagio and being on the water was a plus. The food at the lakeside restaurant was wonderful and the sunning area was great for a lazy afternoon or evening cocktail. We rented our own boat for an hour which was a wonderful way to see the area.

There is a bus stop by the Hotel that takes you to Bellagio, however after waiting for over 1/2 hr., when it finally came it was full and when speaking with the hotel staff they said that it was a common problem. I wish we had been told that in the beginning so we did not have to waste time. Fortunately we had a car and driving into Bellagio was easy....parking not so much but we go lucky!

The room was roomy and had a spectacular view of Lake Como. The food at the restaurant was amazing, particularly the pizza! We enjoyed our stay very much!

The only thing that I thought needed improvement was the shower floor tile. It had mildew stains and needed to be bleached.

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel! The location was perfect (directly next to the bus stop, close to the ferry, 20 minutes from Bellagio…), the restaurant was INCREDIBLE (the food and drinks were delicious and the staff friendly), the breakfast was possibly the best hotel breakfast we’ve had, the amenities were so fun for the kids (we swam, kayaking, jumped on the trampoline, played in the floating inflatable island, lounged by the water, the room was. CLEAN and perfect for the 4 of us (large bed and 2 single), the washroom was extremely well stocked with everything from shampoo and conditioners to intimate wash for the bidet, the view was outstanding, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The receptionist has to be one of the friendliest and most helpful receptionists I’ve dealt with in all my travels (and that is saying a LOT)!! We will definitely be back!

Nothing, it was perfect

Everything! The room itself was very comfortable, with everything we needed. The view was incredible. The breakfast room, restaurant, and bar, were all easily accessible from the room and we loved all of it.

Great location right by the lake with Mountain Views . Has wow factor . Staff very helpful..

Internet wasn’t the best

The hotel staff and restaurant staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel is right by the lake and the restaurant and terrace have lovely views. We were offered covered parking and the hotel accepts dogs. When the weather is nice, there is a lovely terrace with lounge chairs and plenty of water sports to choose from.

Getting to the hotel by car was an experience as the roads are not great from Como. Had we known this, we would have taken the ferry to Bellagio and driven from there (that is the way we went when we left). Our room was very small - we paid 220 euros per night for a small room with ‘mountain views’. The view was of the back garden sloping upwards. The reception made a point of saying it’s what we booked but we felt a bit ripped off to be honest. The photos made the room look considerably bigger (again, we were reminded the room size was posted on booking.com). We asked for a bigger room but were told none were available. We also realised, once we were there, there was nothing to do if the weather is bad. The hotel obviously has no influence over the weather but a comfortable place to sit by the lake that is protected from the weather would have been nice. As we had such a small room, we felt quite claustrophobic in the room while it poured with rain outside.

We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking Lake Como. The room was comfortable and the view was fantastic.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very nice hotel and personal. Perfect quite location with very nice view on lake Como. Good restaurant with classic Italian menu. Price and quality is perfectly matched.

This hotel was 10 out of 10. The amenities, space in the room, everything that I needed was provided for. The staff were nice and accommodating. Getting a reservation for the restaurant was easy. 7 min walk to the ferry. I would recommend anyone in town to stay at this Hotel.
