    Cons -

    • We’ve got the room where the smell of cigarettes was present ( we do not smoke). To refresh the air inside the room we opened the window, but there is no mosquito net, so we had a “guest”Also, the hotel offers birthday package service - you can easily choose the surprise, but in my case we came too late in the evening, and I had no idea that hotel offers something like that. Would be nice to be informed in advance about extra services.
    • I think it’s not accessible if you’re on a wheelchair.
    • The hotel food is awful (I thought this is impossible when you’re in Italy, but they proved this point wrong). Do not waste money on the breakfast they offer and avoid the Mama Gina restaurant if you don’t like over salted pasta or very old salad

First, Yasmine from the hotel was absolutely wonderful! We used all of her recommendations and they were awesome! The view was the most amazing I have ever had from a hotel room. The breakfast was incredible. They brought us a tray of beautiful food and then a menu if we wanted anything else. The restaurant was sensational for all the meals. The hotel is steps away from a beautiful light house with another amazing view. There was a tram that took us back and forth to the town of Como so we had our view and able to explore the town and surrounding towns.

The staff were so friendly. Mama Gina's was amazing food every time. The view was amazing from our room and the shuttle was quick every time. The staff went out of their way to call us to clarify any questions we had.wish we could have stayed longer but we'll be back!

The view of the lake and the staff was amazing spacialy Hajar and Valentina they was super helpful and kind.

The size for the room. And the place was far from como if you come by car.

    10MarcPosted on: 8-23-2025

The view: get a room facing the lake. That alone, more than pays for the stay. It is not called Paradiso by pure chance. The infinity heated pool and the sauna are a most welcome touch after a long trip. And what a trip: to get to the hotel, you take a narrow windy road fit for a bicycle. But, you are in car...and so is the other guy coming down. This is the stuff that forges memories ;-) one does not access Paradise, without a transit through Purgatory. The restaurant and bar, with the aforementioned view, are also noteworthy

    nothing comes to mind

The location was perfect with an amazing view on the lake como. We enjoyed the sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi. We celebrate the birthday of my friend with a bottle of prosecco waiting for us in the room. Thank Hajar and Valentina for their kindness and for making this trip so perfect for us.

    All was perfect

A short journey up the mountainside from Lake Como lies some of the finest views, dining, amenities and service we found on our trip to Italy.

    8RedhaPosted on: 6-21-2025

Views, staff super friendly, especially Yasmeen ?

Nooooo Air conditioning ?, not much options for food, difficult route driving up and down the mountain. Tight lanes.

    3SethPosted on: 5-26-2025

The property offered spectacular views of lake como and the associated restaurant mamagina was very tasty. Yasmine at the front desk was fantastic offering great recommendations for sightseeing, day trip and eating.

    1. The road to the property is extremely difficult to navigate with almost complete 180 degree back and forth turns going up and down a mountain along a road that in many sections is just barely one car wide. This drives adds an extra 20 minutes to any drive you wish to take. I would suggest staying in Como and just taking the funicular to the top for the day for the views. 2. There is no AC and minimal ventilation in the rooms. Not even a fan is available to use if needed. This led to a musty smell in the room and possibly mold on ceiling in bathroom. 3. The rooms offered minimal amenities and for the prices being charged should be overall nicer with linens, toiletries etc. Everything just felt like low quality. 4. Hot/cold water in shower kept going from scalding hot to freezing cold and this happened with almost every shower we took5. Parking is not reserved for guests and while available be advised if certain spots are taken you will need to pay. 6. Website says they offer free shuttle to/from funicular but we were told it was 5€ per person.

Luxury without pretentions. The team is great. Yacuzi and sauna overseeing Como lake. Excellent restaurant. Clean and spacious rooms. We did regret having stayed only one night.

Take your time to get there. The narrow road (climbing to 900m altitude) can be crowdy. Brunate itself is popular amongst turists.

Nice rooms, good food and atmosphere in the restaurants, pool area was beautiful , the view was amazing etc. The people working there was also very friendly and helpful.

    10StanislavPosted on: 4-20-2025

Very good hotel with amiable and helpful staff, and the view is just amazing!!! Unfortunately the pool was closed because of the weather conditions. But even with the rain the sauna and jacuzzi were functioning , what is great !! Good food in the restaurant. The furniture is great, very high quality wood.

1)why jacuzzi only until 19:30? Make please at least 21:002) If you don’t have a car it is not easy to get there , I advise that you order the transfer from the funicular station to the hotel (or you can walk 30 minutes up to the top if you are in good physical shape)

The location was perfect with the most beautiful views of the lake. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were extremely attentive. We will definitely be returning!

My partner and I had the pleasure of spending our baby moon at this charming hotel atop a hill with breathtaking views of Lake Como. The hotel offers stunning views of the lake below, making it the perfect escape for anyone looking for tranquility and natural beauty.Don’t let the fact that it sits on top of the hill deter you! We had no car or vespa, and were thus reliant on bus transfers (the cable car/train thingy was out of order). Transfers up and down the hill were quick and easy and all of it was sorted by the hotel staff. Throughout, the staff was lovely, offering great hospitality. We also enjoyed meals at the hotel’s restaurant. The food was authentic and delicious, and I would recommend everyone to get their signature pistachio pasta. I even brought pistachios back home to try and recreate it! And to anyone thinking about going to Milan - I would recommend a few nights in Lake Como to get the best of both worlds - tranquility and nature in Lake Como, and the pulse of Milan.

It's a great hotel with outstanding views. The staff is extremely friendly, they help you with everything. The beds are very comfy. It was a pleasure to stay there.

The view from here is stunning. We were surprised the pool was open in march, water had 25degrees. It was worth to get in for beautiful pictures.Food at the restaurant was very good. Thank you for all the nice services, all the staff is really nice. We liked our room with the lake view, bed was comfortable. We got a take out breakfast because our flight back was early in the morning. Wish we would come back one day in May when the flowers bloom.

Sauna didn't work for two days we were there because something broke and they couldn't repair it.If you want to use jacuzzi after 20:00 you have to pay. We didn't had a chance to use it much, it was always occupied. I just went in for awhile with other people and it was awkward. My husband didn't want to use it at all. We paid for parking near the hotel 5euro for two nights. Road uphill and downhill with a car was really scary. It's very narrow and vehicles coming from the other side have difficulties to pass each other. It's a really long way going round and round and you wonder when it's going to end at some point.

Warm welcome, great views, jakuzzi outside with amazing views!
