Hotel Europa - Sorico

We loved the personal way we were treated, the custom food mama cooked for us, the cleanliness of everything, the affordable price for a 4 star experience, the location near a beach and pool, and the peacefulness of the hotel.

There was not one thing we didn't like. We were treated like a member of their family at all times.

Absolutely amazing location by the Como lake, beautiful views, very cosy family hotel, filled with a lot of love of its owners, nice interior details, tasty breakfast and pretty cat. Mattia is very attentive and welcoming host! Wish we could stay here for more days!

It was a real pleasure staying there.The breakfast was delicious, the food of their restaurant was excellent, with homemade pasta and always quick and nice service.Our kids loved it and we also did.We would definitely go and stay there again ?Sorico is a beautiful and quiet village, where you can walk calmly around the lake.

This hotel is a hidden jem. A real authentic family run hotel with amazing food served by the mama. The homemade food that we have had here was the best we had in all of Italy. The family works every day to give you the best experience around lake Como. We have a lot of respect for them, also because they give you the feeling that you are at home. Their hospitality and kindness is truly out of this world. They will help you with anything you want. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the airconditioning worked very well. The breakfast was freshmade and it was delicious. Mattia, the owner, also provides you with an extensive information brochure containing the best things to do around lake Como. We used the brochure a lot for hiking trails and parking places. It helped us a lot to explore the beautiful nature of Sorico and Como. He also helped us book a horse-riding experience which was amazing. Because of this family, our trip was really special and perfect for us. It felt like home. We will definitely, without any doubt, come back soon to this hotel and mama's food.

It's a family run hotel with all their members doing their job wholeheartedly. The owner is a very kind and caring (and a lot of fun too!), always helpful giving advice where to go and what to do. The restaurant is amazing too with delicious meals and desserts. In my opinion it's the best place to stay in Como Lake, it's very easy to get around unlike other touristy crowded places, at the same time close enough to the getaway to beautiful scenic drives in north (Berninapass, Silvaplana, St Moritz). Shame there's only ten stars to give.
