Pros +

  • The room itself was a bit small and had no chair (just a backless stool) but it was sunny, clean, and warm. The free coffee was strong, which I appreciated.
  • Clean. Welcoming.
  • Location , access from a motorway

Cons -

  • I wasn't the biggest fan of this hotel. It was on the other side of the train tracks from the town, which wouldn't have been the biggest deal if the neighbourhood hand't been quite so seedy. Across the street is a literal brothel (with a huge sign of a scantily clad lady) and I didn't feel quite at ease at night. Attached to the hotel is a giant ruined building from the Kaiserzeit; this was actually pretty interesting to look at to be honest. The staff were helpful if sometimes a little sullen, and there was always a long line for the desk when checking in, picking up luggage, etc.
  • Would like a kettle in the bedroom
  • Doing booking I sent a message to the hotel with, important to me, inquiry. Nobody responded to that

Good location near the railway station, great selection in a buffet breakfast, free coffee and tea near reception whole day.

Location is good. Parking is easy.

Compared with the facility, the price is high.

Poor

The property was dirty, had flys and cobwebs. Toilet was also dirty. Expected much more from ibis

2BipashaPosted on: 9-14-2024

Close to the center of city!

1) the location: The location is very prime and it’s next to brothel and main road. Not a quiet one.2) the room was very dirty. The carpet or the bathroom was not properly clean. The bedsheet was days old, it did not look like they were changed recently. Room had so much dust and spider webs. Cautious: please take an extra bedsheet. For one night stay the hotel might be okay but not for longer days!

A nice children's play corner in the restaurant.

There was moldy bread at breakfast, and when I informed the staff about it by showing a slice, the lady apologized and took the slice away. After some time, I returned to the buffet hoping to make toast, and saw that all the bread in the container was spoiled. I informed the staff again and the lady just took the container without saying a word, no alternative was given. That is, after the first message, no one checked the product, and after the second, the toast was simply taken away.

Friendly staff

Very hot rooms. Air condition did not work

6HansPosted on: 7-28-2024

Breakfast was fine.Room was very small but clean.Ventilator was nice but also not a solution when hot outside.Staff was lovely.Location sucks.

Location. Wrong side of the Central Station, nextdoor neighbour to a brothel, busy trafic all night (because of that, I guess) plus trains. Groups of young men walking around. Did not breeze safe area. Did not want to go out later at night.Adjacent building is a wreck, makes for a strange feeling that half of the total building is in fact falling apart.Preferably windows closed but with heat not an option. Not enough parking for hotel guests and given the neighbourhood one would like to be able to park in the garage.

Room was nice, staff friendly.

No air conditioning, bordel across the street

7JustusPosted on: 7-4-2024

Very central, easy to access.

Room were not that comfortable equipped, but of course worth the money.

7BorivojPosted on: 7-1-2024

Clean, perfect breakfast.

Not working restaurant for dinner, extreme hot in room, No possible airco

2MarcoPosted on: 7-1-2024

Never again!

Room facing the sun (window at South-West) on a busy road without air conditioning. So the room was very hot and no possibility to cool it down. Sleeping with open window was impossible due to the noise of the traffic!

Free coffee! Had a good sleep as the room was quiet.

Two out of the three staff members I interacted with were very cold. When I leave I usually take the sheets off the bed to help the cleaners, and found out that the protective bedsheet was yellow. The heaters in my room were off but at least a staff member gave me an electric heater.

Good hotel if you are planning a short stay. Modest rooms but quite comfortable. Tasty breakfast. Parking right next to the hotel or underground. The location is quite okay, but to find the "city center" you need to walk about 2 km.
