Radisson Blu Hotel Cottbus

Breakfast was very good!Room was very spacious and comfortable.Location is opposite the train and bus station which is very helpful.

There was nothing we did not like!We were very satisfied!

Very nice hotel with free parking close by. We had a large, clean and comfortable room. The young lady at the front was very friendly and helpful.

- Parking marked not very clearly (it was not clear if I should go there as a hotel guest)- Parking relatively expensive (15 EUR/day)

It’s right where the train station so perfect location really. Pool is great but felt a bit cold.

Compared to the brand of raddison, the rooms very old style - all furniture, bathroom and it did not appear to be a style/theme just not upgraded.

The sauna and the pool at the 9th are spectacular.

Great breakfast BUT not for VEGANS. Two not so tasty 90s spread options and that's it. It's 2024 - I hope they will expand the vegan options soon.

Nice location next to HBF. Very clean room.

Parking is 15€ per day, but you can find a free parking place in railway station parking place. It's mostly full but we managed to find a spot after sometime.

There wasn't anything to eat (restaurant , machine or something in our room) when we arrived at 22:00. We miss Tee and cafe in the room.

Very professional and friendly staff. The facilities have seen better days, but are clean and functional. We had a dog with us, and was charged 25 euro for the dog. The hotel prepared a dog bed, a blanket, and two bowls for the dog, already placed in the room.

We wanted to use the pool, asked for bathrobes and slippers, but was informed that they ran out of supplies, and will only be resupplied on Monday (we stayed over the weekend).

Disappointing

Well, first of all I couldn’t reach the reception by the phone (called 10-12 times?) when I got to the room I found out that the room was dirty, I found someone’s hair in the bad and in the bathroom. But the most disappointing thing was that I found pieces of broken glass!!! (One in the bed one one the floor)When I told the receptionist about that he didn’t even apologize he told me “thanks for informing”

While it is opposite the station this does not mean it is close to centre. Quiet area for food but there is an excellent vietnamese restaurant around the corner, recommended

-made a reservation mostly because of sauna and swimming pool, but unfortunately they were out of service -room was really dated and dark, no power outlets near the bed-pillows are super soft

Very friendly staff, good location, high service level and good value for the money.

You can see that the hotel isn't the youngest one and the drainage in the bathroom was blocked.

Carpets are smelly and old and need replacing. The pool area need a bit more servicing and updating. It’s ready for an update

Only minor issues (at least for me):1. Large amount of dust inside the cabinet revealed when part of the cabinet accidentally fell off. As if it hadn't been cleaned for years. Probably a place that is difficult/impossible to access for routine cleaning. However, dust was also clearly visible behind the bedside tables. Otherwise, the room was clean. 2. The sauna turns on ealriest at 4.00 p.m.
