- The rooms are comfortable and offer great views, especially those with balconies facing the beach. The beds are spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant serves delicious food with plenty of variety. Without a doubt, this is the kind of hotel you never want to leave. The beaches are small but more than enough for the guests. I really enjoyed the peace and the natural surroundings. My wife took yoga classes and absolutely loved them. We also appreciated how warmly they welcomed our pet

- I would love to have a coffee machine in the room, and I would also appreciate if there were cleaning campaigns in the mangrove, as some litter from tourists visiting the nearby beach, called Cholon, ends up there.

The outdoors setting was beautiful and the staff very friendly and attentive.
Bad smell in the bathroom. The WiFi didn’t work in the room. The AC broke in every one of the three bedrooms we booked and had to be fixed. Crazy amount of mosquitoes and no store to buy repellent or some kind of repellent from the hotel like citronella candles. Very basic breakfast and many options from the dinner menu were not available.
Great service, everyone was super helpful and kind.
Because I was traveling with my grandma, I had to travel on car, the road is not good at all.The beach is very small and shallow, not the experienced I had at the islands at other places
The property is stunning, offering a true sense of seclusion and disconnection from the outside world. Its remote location provides a unique and peaceful atmosphere, though it can be challenging to access after dark. The rooms are spacious and the beds exceptionally comfortable, contributing to a relaxing stay. The on-site restaurant serves quality meals, adding to the overall positive experience.
While the restaurant offers good food, portion sizes are moderate, and the pricing feels somewhat high relative to the value received. For stays longer than three days, the menu can become repetitive. Expanding the breakfast offerings, particularly by including vegetarian options, would greatly enhance the dining experience. Additionally, the staff could be more accommodating to dietary preferences and requests.
the room, the pool and the services were excellent!
the food at the restaurant was quite expensive and it did not have great quality. It was too expensive for what it was.
The staff was very nice
I had high expectations for the hotel's two beach accesses, but unfortunately, they were disappointing. The beaches were full of seaweed and mangroves, making them difficult to enjoy. Our stay was further overshadowed by the robbery of some cash (USD 140) and a pair of AirPods. Although the owner was very nice about the situation, the hotel must improve its security measures.
The staff is amazing, location is unique! food is out of this world.
it has it's own private beach but lots of algae, so you basically can't use it...need to take a boat
The Hotel is beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The Menu options were good although if you are staying for longer than 3 days there it might start to get boring.
The music, actually different types of music coming from several speakers at the same time (imagine reggaeton and electro both loudly at the same time) is extremely loud and annoying. I wonder why no one from the staff realizes or cares to find a solution. The part of the beach and sea entry that belongs to the hotel was extremely polluted specially in the morning when a mid size motorized highly polluting boat (you can smell it from the hotel) comes to provide stuff to the hotel. It had to pass a couple of hours until the water was clear again
A great pool and the rooms were clean and spacious, some staff were helpful and friendly. Food options varied and mostly good quality food
Loud music from the island opposite and breakfast was poor. Some staff were not friendly and service for food was very slow
Our stay at this charming boutique hotel offered many delightful moments. The property boasts a lovely pool and two beach access points, providing beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. The food was enjoyable, and breakfast, in particular, was amazing, offering a magnificent view. We took a boat trip to Cholon Island, which was a lot of fun. The evenings were romantic and intimate, allowing my husband and me to stargaze in a tranquil setting. We were able to watch shooting stars.
However, there were some aspects that did not meet our expectations. Upon arrival, we found that the room did not match the pictures we had seen online. Additionally, the manager seemed somewhat disorganized and was unable to locate our booking. We had to wait approximately 40 minutes for our room to be prepared, despite arriving after the check-in time. This gave us the impression that the hotel might have been overbooked, and our room was hastily arranged. We had hoped to make our wedding anniversary special, but this issue was quite disappointing. When we addressed our concerns with the manager, the only thing he said that that’s a standard room and there’s nothing he can do to accommodate us.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Barú! The place is absolutely perfect for relaxation, surrounded by stunning nature and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was beyond friendly, they were incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Their hospitality truly made the experience even more special.
Beautiful place. Lovely beach, pool and setting. Very good restaurant. The staff are wonderful. Friendly, attentive and clearly take pride in keeping their place tidy and clean. This might have been our best beach vacation ever and this place was terrific
No issues at all
The pool has a really good vibe and everyone seemed to enjoy it respectfully. At night, the sound was minimal and we were right by the pool. The beds were comfortable, the hammocks and chairs as well. The food was very good, albeit expensive.
We gotten bitten pretty badly during the nigh despite not leaving the window open at all during the day... The hotel could perhaps make sure the mosquito screens are better installed or simply invest in bug nets. There weren't many vegetarian options, but the few they had were pretty good!
The property is great ! What we liked the most are the staff, the pool and the restaurant. Special thanks to the women at the reception + Richard & Osvaldo !
The cocktail glasses are filled with ice. An usual trick to increase the margin but it is very disappointing for the customer as we pay a lot for a small quantity of beverage. Additionally, the beach & the sea are not amazing compared to other hotels in the region.
staff, pool, mangroves
it was so loud during the day from all the yachts in front and the parties. every day from 11-16:00. you can only relax morning and evening
Rooms are simple but nice, comfortable and clean. Very friendly staff, delicious food and relaxing environment.
Pool facilities were not finished yet but staff was friendly enough to help us out all the time.
The pool was amazing, rooms were comfy (AC is a gift in this climate!) Staff was very sweet and accommodating and communicative. Breakfast was great, the remainder of the food felt a little limiting as there were no other options around.
Location was challenging to get to — roads were very uncomfortable to drive and the boat is expensive. Felt pretty isolated with nothing around once you arrive, so it’s best to treat it like an all inclusive resort that you don’t leave. We were there for two days which felt like enough time. If we had been there longer I think it would have felt isolating.
Nice and quiet beautiful getaway with a beach and pool. The welcome is wonderful and much needed if you’ve decided to travel there by car (not recommended!). The cocktails are good and staff were great.
Definitely take the boat option to get there because the road is so bad that you’re often going 5km/hour. Some guys on motorcycles tried to stop our taxi and extract payment. We only stayed one night, but if you’re going to trek out there I recommend doing at least 2 nights.
