Pros +
- Excellent location and beautiful interior. Buffet dinner was worth the price, great food. Good service overall. Spacious room with outdoor seating area. Great breakfast too.
- In this area, it is one of the best hotels. It is not a 5-star or a premium property — rather simple and provincial — but acceptable for this location. You are unlikely to find anything better nearby. Breakfast is average, with a lot of bread. A nice plus is the beautiful common outside area with a fireplace, perfect for spending the evening by the salt flats.
- The hotel is amazing and unique with a brand new kids playground with large adult ferris wheel, outside carousel ? ride . Additionally they are currently finishing off bbq ? pits so you can sit under the stars ? and gaze !They also have installed outdoor trampolines! The hotel is beautiful inside. The external areas probably could do with some regular checks and inspections. Our view from our room was amazing. Our room was built of salt blocks in an exposed ceiling. Very unique!10 min drive straight onto the salt flats! Perfect ?
Cons -
- The shower was awful, shower head needs replaced. It came out like needles and there was no adjustment that could be made. The shower is really small too so you have to stand directly under. Was not able to shower at this hotel.
- It is charging too much - but if you can afford it the. Book !You won’t be disappointed
- Service client is not the best but it is ok! In the bar the staff was so nice but they forgot about the foods and drinks and we had to wait and told them the they forgot our food

Service client is not the best but it is ok! In the bar the staff was so nice but they forgot about the foods and drinks and we had to wait and told them the they forgot our food
incredible spa, great dinner buffet, heated beds
Really unique property, definitely the best hotel to visit the salt flats. Beautiful spa area and facilities. Staff was very attentive.
Food could have been better.
Beautiful building and environment. The carnival theme outside looks like an awesome addition to their design/decor. I love the billiard table and fireplace as well as the pool and spa amenities. This was my favorite part of the hotel.
the view was bothered by a constant stream of staff working and walking very close to my window so I had to close it. The room had water temperature and pressure issues. The pressure was fixed by calling the front desk and having service come but the hot water never came even though they said we needed to wait 5 min. We waited 20 4 different times and weren't lucky. The food for breakfast and the restaurant was terrible. We waited over 1.5 hours for our dinner.
Location and spa! Splendid
Room didnt have windows and the bathroom is tiny
Clean and well kept right on the edge of the salt flats.
For the price, room was small.
Poor
Problems with running water, Internet, heater
The hotel is located right on the salt flat, with access within walking distance. The hotel has a unique design with salt bricks throughout the property. The room is very comfortable, and truly unique. This is a luxury property in one of the most remote parts of the planet. I enjoyed renting a bicycle and riding on the salt pains. I also enjoyed the beautiful spa, when it was open and working. The breakfast was also great, with many options. Although a rather expensive stay, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Uyuni and I would happily stay here again.
Parts of the hotel were closed at different times, without any explanation. The bar, for example, was closed during sunset, which is one of the most beautiful times of day. The spa was also closed at random times during the day. The sauna was also not always working. The staff, although generally polite and courteous, was not always at a five star level, often giving contradicting answers (ie for when the spa or the bar will be open).
Good location and nice amenities
VIP suites have no privacy and face the wrong direction - not worth the room rate at all.
Very unique interior design. Very comfortable and relaxing. Liked the background music. The breakfast was fantastic.
It is great experience to stay in this fantastic hotel in Uyuni, it is a palace and stuffs are so kind and wonderful, couldn’t be recommended more
Great location near salar. Spa is good with great pool and saunas. Hotel structure is good and breakfast is good.
I booked a deluxe room (they call it VIP), which was supposed to have a queen bed (150x180cm), but i got a room with a 130x180cm bed and when complaining, i was challenged by staff as if i was the one who did not get it right and they were right. After insisting, they gave me a 10pct discount, as if this would solve the mistake. And i didnt have anyone assuming the mistake, or even coming to the room to check the bed as i requested. Very bad treatment for a “fancy” and expensive hotel. Dinner also is overpriced for what it offers.
Perfect location in the middle of town, superb staff, lovely and relaxing pool area with access to an amazing bar and good food all day long.
Was very surprised that room didn’t have air conditioning I would always just assume a room at this price would do so. There was some noise from building work which I would not have minded if they had warned me in advance but to be fair it was extremely well managed and not too annoying.
This is an amazing place to get the best sunset at Uyuni. Also, the place gave the comfort that you do not have in another place. The staff is so kind and able to help you all the time. The hotel offers all in it: restaurant ( the breakfast was enough and tasty), bar, spa and a little shop to get beauty souvenirs at a good price. Besides, there is an agency to schedule tours if you need it.
Everything was really exceptional!
Great hotel super close to the salt flats! You can cycle right out to them, worth noting you need to do a salt flats tour as well though so you can go further out! Lovely having a spa on site to relax and have a massage. Was fairly expensive for room size but lots of places to relax around the hotel so didn’t matter too much.
It was a terrible experience where which anything remotely nice was obliterated by all that went wrong.I guess the pool is nice and it’s close to Uyuni.
What happened since check in has to be reported because I don’t understand how this kind of hotel management keeps a 5 star rating. The bedroom had no hot water until we had to call someone to fix it, the bathroom toilet had to be flushed with the help of the teapot because it didn’t flush enough water. But the worst was the temperature, while we’re in summer we arrived at the room only to finding it scorching hot. We obviously reported it to the reception before we left to dinner and they’ve said they would put a fan on the room to try and refresh it.While we were seated down to have our dinner at the bar, a group of young people charged in, literally took over the bar while the waiters looked helplessly and we were forced out of the are because both the music was too lout for the waiter on the other side of the bar to understand us but also because they started dancing everywhere, shouting, filming, etc.We asked for the manager to report this and we had to wait 45minutes for someone to show up even we called for it 3 times during this 45minutes of waiting. When the manager finally showed up all she had to say was “I’m sorry I didn’t know this was going to happen” while proceeding to doing absolutely nothing. Finally, when we’ve arrived to the room we found out no fan was there and the room was still hot. The only option we had was to sleep with the window open in order to try and refresh the room. Sleeping with the noise of a fan definitely wasn’t on our plans. But it gets worse, the windows of the room let all the sun in meaning at 5am it was day in our room without an option to keep it darker for us to continue to sleep.During check out we made sure we’ve talked to the manager (which, again, took his time) and expressed our feelings about our stay. We were told they look into it and would reach out. A month has passed and no one reached out. This has been, by far, my worst experience in a so called luxury hotel.
I didn’t like that I wast’t explained of how some bedrooms are so tiny with no air conditioning which is very hot during summer time . There are some bigger bedrooms but unfortunately I wasn’t very wellInformed .
