    Pros +

    • Good price and comfortable. Short walk to city center.
    • The price was relatively low
    • The location was good

    Cons -

    • There was absolutely no heating. I was freezing all night. Toilet was dirty when I’ve arrived. Got really sick while I was there. I was throwing up all night. Reception guy was bit rude
    • The Hague is a run down Hostel not a Hotel at all. Very Dirty, black net curtains, shower door did not shut, soap holder had old soap residue not cleaned, toilet was absolutely disgusting.Table and chairs falling apart, fire alarm from the ceiling dumped on top of the wardrobe. Woken by a couple having a fight outside our room, screaming, shouting, doors being slammed the place was a complete nightmare. Nothing was like the pictures shown of the Hague, it's old and run down, I would never return to the Hague again and would never recommend anyone stay there.
    • Although my booking was confirmed, payment went through on the 5. August, the hotel claimed the had not received payment, and had rented the room to someone else, so no room for me, and was sent on my way again.Showed reservation and payment details, no change of mind of the receptionist! Stay away

I had a wonderful experience at that hotel. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bielefeld / Bad Salzuflen.

    Nothing:)

    It is centrally located.

Very poor standards of hygiene. My room wasn’t cleaned & the bin mot emptied for 3 weeks, though the beddings were changed. During my stay the shower cabin was never cleaned. To crown it all my suitcase with a code lock was locked by an unknown person. The hotel hotel responded to my complaint by throwing me out & accusing me of having locked my own suitcase and forgetting the code! Never mind the fact that that suitcase had never had a code!! Anyway, I spent money getting a key company to destroy the lock.

The city center is close by and can be reached by foot. The price for the room was low. The towels and sheets were clean. The bed was OK for one night.

The room is very noisy, I could here the direct neighbors on all sides incl dogs across the streets. The bathroom floor and shower didn't look clean and moldy. The bedroom floor was sticky.

no breakfast ; towels not in good condition

    wifi was not working

The original room I was given was not to my liking as far as cleanliness goes and I was quickly shown a couple of further room options by the friendly receptionist. The budget price of the room should not affect standards of basic cleanliness. The rooms are slowly being renovated / decorated (my 'new' room had a refreshed bathroom with new shower cubicle) but obviously the hotels income is not going to produce a change of standard.

Poor soundproofing, I could hear next door coughing and the tv from a room above I think

The hotel is very, very old. Also, both the bed and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable.
