Hotel Strijewski

on the way to some tourist attractions in Germany we had to stop overnight at this hotel, without any expectations but simply because it had the lowest price for what we were looking for. However, the breakfast was good, the rooms with an older look but clean and well-kept and the staff ok (even though we didn't meet anyone until the next day at breakfast and check-out). All in all, an ok experience and it's clear that efforts are being made.

There is a fair bit of noise from outside as it is an area with apartment buildings but it settles down before midnight Also noise from ??‍♀️ other room I suppose, someone walking like an elephant ??

Brekfest was excellent. Localisation is good. The location by car is very good. It's easy to find the hotel by address

Cleaning was perfect, the price was okay for last minute booking. Good enough for a few days trip.

No restaurants nearby but you can order online.

carpets look like cardboard

not a lot. parking was full. still had to pay a 4€ which they never mentioned. could not check in. Asked for late checkin. they never respond at all. had to call them. took forever before they picked up phone.

bad service. people at desk refuse to print an invoice. had to pay for parking even it was full. weird lady at desk who claimed her printer was not working. simple bad place to go.

near to city and price

a bottle of water for 4€? ridiculous. The first bottle shouldn’t cost a penny. very cheap mattress and pillow …very soft.

The restaurant was good.

The TV screen is too small. The remote was not working, but I didn't want to notify them because watching on a small screen won't be pleasing anyway.Face tissues were really less. Maybe less than 10 in number. Even though the restaurant is good, not much selection of food was available.

The check out time is 12, but the staff knocked on the door at 11:30 and was extreme rude as if we were not never gonna leave.

morning staff would stare at me having my breakfast. room was tiny and internet kept cutting out plus the tiny TV was a joke

The size of the room (No 220), was clean and warm. The central heating were working perfect.The location is quite and very well connected with the local roads.The fair price of 60 € per night.

The room (No 220) needs to be renovated.The hotel must avoid to charge the parking for 4 € per night.

Very friendly reception, clean room, you could make coffee/tea in the room, delicious breakfast buffet, close to the city exit, cheap parking spot near the entrance.

The place was clean and the lady in the kitchen was very friendly, regardless of not speaking any English. .

I didn't like the quality of the room for that price. No toothbrush, toothpaste and bottle of water. And yeah, booking.com got me confused with breakfast (I checked the option with breakfast and then got reservation without)

hotel seemed ok at first but when we went to room found it extremely warm

very hot room in fact we only stayed 15 minutes then decided it wasnt for us so informed receptionist that we changed our minds , receptionist was lovely and informed us all was ok and we wouldnt be charged so off we went to find another hotel.however i found on checking my bank acc that we had been charged even after we were told all was ok, i had not cancelled via booking.com app ( my fault on that part) i guess however id have thought they could sort it out , so far nothing at all, hotel decided to charge us regardless, . so a tip to all booking.com customers ..Always cancel on booking.com site even on the day of booking. we had until 6.00 pm to cancel it was 3 pm we were in the room 15 mins ,.. hotel decided to charge us even though there was still lenty time , but because i hadnt cancelled via booking.com ,.. i was charged .. and they still refuse refund.. .. This is not good at all.. !! i do not reccomend this hotel to anyone..
