The room was huge and was very clean

Good location, economical for a family with plenty of floor space.

The building and furnishing are 1960s/70s era, still functional, but in need of updating. The beds are not the most comfortable. The kitchette works but does not include any kitchen wares needed for use.

Excellent location, quiet, room was okay, free parking, very good price.

The KI assistant sucks.

Very close to a beautiful park and castle

No one is looking after the hotel and during the night strangers were attempting to get into my room

it was a quiet location and safe for our car which was unsecured with a broken window.The room was big (room #7) and the bedding was clean.

The hallways smelt damp and doors and carpets need updating. Our room carpet was stained.

No prior communication about access- no facilities. No lift, no WiFi. They did not give us the room we paid for and said that they would reimburse us but they haven’t. The carpets were stained and disgusting, all the veneers were peeling off and there has been zero investment into this property. It is awful.

Location is good, right next to the castle Wolfsburg. The cleaner has been trying his/her best, but even the cleaner can’t do miracles.

Alter Wolf is a total rip-off. Avoid at any cost! It has probably been an cosy inn back in the 80’s, but the current owners have let it deteriorate and it’s clear that nothing has been done with it for decades. There is no staff available, and it’s clear why not; it’s easier just to take quests money and avoid the initial feedback. The place is sad, not taken care off, and it’s only there to make money for the owners.

Great location. Parking and how quiet it was.

The automatic check in didn't work for us so I have contacted the given number. The gentleman was very helpful and helped us get a pin code to get the key, however we got two keys instead of one. Not thinking much about it we went into the building and it turned out we were given two separated single rooms instead of one double as per booking. I have rung back to clarify, after a few tries the same gentleman answered and tried very hard to find an explanation on why this happened, after a moment he said the housekeeper was ill. So me and my husband slept in a single bed.

Dont go there, you will be sorry for sure. From unfriendly to dirty you have everything. Showerhose broken, black mold in the shower.... service....none. have a look at the picture...

The beds were comfortable. Rooms are spacious and it is very quiet. Nice location. It was good value for money.

I had no idea it was a self-check in. If you don't have a mobile phone with a QR reader or if you don't speak German, you could be in diffs. I didn't see a single soul from arrival to departure. OK, so no restaurant...a vending machine might have been useful.

Room a little basic

The hotel is located inside the civil park area where you can enjoy the atmosphere of good old German forest, and it stands just near by a historical castle. The hotel facility is a classic style German cabin which is somewhat old but cozy. Staying in this hotel will make you feel that you are really traveling Germany.

Great park and castle nearby, great location and ambience. Nice breakfast(included).Friendly staff.

Lots of mosquitos and no AC or mosquito net inside the room, it was very hot.
