Leonardo Hotel Wolfsburg City Center

the room was comfortable, spacious, & clean. there was a nice selection of food at the breakfast buffet, & the staff was friendly. the service at the bar was also good. the hotel is not far from the main train station.

there was no shower door, so the splash leaked into the bathroom a bit.

The location of the hotel is really good. Anyone can reach the city centre in 5-10 min. by walk. Shopping area in nearby, many restaurants are nearby.breakfast is awesome. Many items are covered in breakfast which also covers for children. Good place for stay with family as well.Rooms are adequate in size, have good connectivity with Wi-Fi. Cleanliness of the room is very good.

Cost/rate to be optimised.

Really nice staff, tidy rooms. Nice interior of the whole hotel. Good breakfast. Good Bar. However missing ventilator in my room in bathroom and no mini fridge. But not a big deal.

It's a nice and comfortable hotel for the price.What drags down the experience is the overcrowded breakfast restaurant and the lack of enough parking place's

There is no gym, sauna or facilities for business traveller. Only restaurant and the room with two double beds which is not necessary for solo traveller. The blankets had holes on them. The shower was not standing correct so you have to shower while holding.

Design and facilities are missing

I enjoyed the spacious comfortable room, terrific breakfast buffet and even though I travelled by myself, I thought the play area for children was one of the best things I have seen in hotels. The complimentary drinks in the fridge and the water were a nice touch.

Maybe the snack choices in the bar were not that great.

It was a nice sized place with a wonderful play area for the kids. This was probably the best part of the hotel. There were so many games to choose from that an entire day could have easily been spent here. The rooms were big with two beds (although we asked for a single queen and not two double) and a connecting door. They were a little outdated but nice enough. My partner also got a lovely birthday cake sent to our room while we had breakfast. Thank you for this!

The staff weren’t overly friendly except one lady at check-in. I guess she tried to do us a favor in giving us an upgrade (smaller but much nicer room! I wish I didn’t see it before we got downgraded again…) since we booked two rooms with a connecting door, another member of staff told us we can’t have two rooms there (I assume the newer block with better rooms). It’s weird as I asked the first receptionist we met if the rooms had the connecting doors and she said yes… but also gave me only keys to one room which I thought was due to the small age of our children. They all seemed to lack communicating with each other as certain aspects we emailed beforehand were ignored. When checking out, I was told that an intern replied to me (and confirmed me things) that weren’t written down, hence the confusion. Also, lady who checked us in first told me that the birthday surprise was arranged and I should tell the staff in the morning when we go to breakfast - who looked at me dumb folded… (they managed to assemble a wonderful cake but said they did it last minute with the help of the kitchen staff as they had no idea about this…) Overall it was nice and great as a use of business hotel. Breakfast looked better than it tasted and there were many vegan options as well.

Great central location, clean and comfortable rooms and good value for money

The breakfast was good. The bathroom was really tired looking, not nice at all with even soap to wash hands after a long trip.

Location of the hotel is good. Hotel ambience and surrounding is good. Good choices of breakfast.

There was no hand wash at the sink. Elevators looks more old. Making noises while operating, the buttons at ground floor was not functioning well.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating as they allowed us to drop our bags despite arriving before check-in.The room was very spacious and located in a relatively quiet area. I'd also say the hotel was fairly priced.

Nothing particular stands out as negative, it's a little bit of a trek from the Hbf station but still walkable. I'm sure there is probably public transport that you could use anyways.Can't judge the food or facilities as we didn't use them.

The room, the service, the breakfast.

Everything exceeded my expectations. This was my first hotel stay alone with my 7 year old, to spend some quality time together. He LOVED it. I don't think we could have found a better place for our stay. The staff was so lovely, so many small little extras that made him excited. Free candy in the reception area, a popcorn machine in the evening, breakfast with a pancake machine and Nutella dispenser. He won a free drink at the bar at the wheel of fortune! Watching TV from the bed. A huge bathrobe for after showering. He is still talking about it now that we are home. I am planning to come back with my youngest next year :-)They arranged an alternative for the missing pool since we already booked half a year ago when it was functional which was great, hopefully next year we can try out their own pool!

I wasn't informed in advance that the pool was closed, and has been for months. This is information I would expect to receive before travelling as we filtered all accommodations with a pool when booking - without it, we would not even have seen this hotel. I only found out when I sent a message to specifically ask since the photo of the pool disappeared, and it was removed from the facilities in the description.

Clean room, all You need for short stay. The reception is very helpfull. Good breakfast.

Sound proofing in room is not the best, but it is usually so for hotels. So You can hear the near rooms.

Very convenient for a one night-stay as we were just travelling by to reach our next location. The room was spacious for 3 people. We didn't get a lot of amenities but we didn't need them as it was only for one-night. Staff was kind and a smooth check-in. No problems at all.
