Victoria Hotel

Hotel interior is nice. Located at main square, Since we were supposed to reach bit late at 9.30pm, reception ppl waited for us which was good (as they dont have 24 hrs checkin)

I made a hotel reservation through Booking, but I had some trouble. Customer service feedback said that the hotel front desk can't speak English and the payment method is very inconvenient. I can't pay in advance, and the hotel doesn't provide my bank account for remittance, and the payment link doesn't work, so I can only pay at the front desk of the hotel. It's unbelievable that there is such an inconvenient hotel now. I called Booking customer service four times, hoping that they could help me contact the hotel to solve the payment problem, but they failed to do so, which made me very disappointed.

Not the fault of the hotel. But twice now they ripped something on the market square up. Must be difficult for the hotel and bar as well.

The hotel was fabulous, in a perfect location with parking available. The room was big and comfortable and very well equipped. Tina who greeted us on arrival was lovely and extremely helpful with the local area and attractions and was always there if we needed anything.

My only criticism would be the lack of tea and coffee making items in the room. Would have been lovely to have a coffee in the room and enjoy the mornings there.

Huge room!! Huge bath! Great breakfast and an amazingly helpful staff. Top notch experience all around. Proximity to food was great.

I have stayed at the Victoria many times and it always hits the mark. Positioned in the middle of the central square could not be better. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast adequate. The rooms are neat, tidy, and spacious. Parking in the underground carpark is free. Overall a great business-type hotel

Breakfast hot options could be better, but it's really a minor moan as there are a large variety of other options that are good.

I'm always happy with the Victoria. The classic rooms are very large and comfortable, with great baths. Super friendly staff and the rooms are very quiet for sleeping, even though the building is right on the central market square.

The WiFi didn't work at all this time.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Excellent location. Breakfast is basic and the only let-down. I have stayed their multiple time and feel relaxed in their unique atmosphere!!

The hotel has the best location, rich breakfast, rooms are clean, stuff is friendly and very comfortable to communicate. Love this hotel and I always prefer to stay in this hotel during my being in Minden.

location was perfect. Rooms were spacious, clean and had all you needed.

Bedding was 2 single quilts for a double bed. should have been a double quilt.

The room was ok with the exception of the bathroom. The room was quiet most of the time. I understand the "green" purpose and have used it whenever I was there.

Where shall I begin. I have come to this hotel for several years, three times within the last 6 months and I was never so disappointed as at this last stay. No soap in the soap dispenser at the hand basin. This occurred also during a previous visit, which I mentioned to the front desk at the time. An extremely dirty drinking glass. A (definitely washed) sheet with a yellow stain which seemed to stem from an accident a dog might have had.I twice went by the front desk to mention these thigs, however, no one was there.The size of the bathroom is such that you have to be a contortionist just to get to the toilet. As much as I understand and will put up with some deficiencies due to the Corona pandemic, there were just too many items, which made the room worth definitely less than EUR 99.

The hotel is right on the main square and handy to everything. It is a short taxi ride from the railway station. My room was enormous for a single person, and my daughter and husband's room was small - there was no sense to this. I had a large bathroom with a bath.

The reception area is poky and the staff were a little unfriendly and not interested in helping with questions - in fact one woman was actually rude. There is no facility for them to print something which was very inconvenient. There is no air-conditioning or fan in the room and it was unbearably hot for most of the nights we stayed.

The hotel has large rooms and spacious bathrooms. Overlooking the town square it is minutes from city attractions. They happily cater.to bicycle tourists and have secure storage.

Located on the town square there will be noise if your room overlooks the square and you sleep with the windows open.

The hotel has best location, very comfortable rooms. It was my second time there and I will always stay there during my being in Minden. Staff is friendly, breakfast is fine. Everything around .. Highly recommend hotel..
