Best Western Hotel Baars

The location of the hotel, cleanliness. My room was on the top floor in the corner, had view of the lake and of the church. LOVED, the church bells every 30 min.

The bathroom supplies were almost never replenished. Kept getting shoe shine! Had to go down to the lobby to ask for washcloths, shower cap, body wash etc. Even after that, supplies not replenished.

I am afraid it's difficult to find things to put here given the not so great value for money.

Unfortunately the hotel did not at all live up to expectations. Very expensive rooms although only standard equipped, breakfast for 15 extra (!) euros, rather disappointing, very basic choices only. Parking was another additional 16Euros. So despite a room for 160eur you had to add another 31 Euro (not including city tax) for our stay (for one room). I am travelling a lot for both work and private, this is the lowest rating I gave in a very long time.

lift was a bit slow and the bed was good, but a bit small.

We could still be included for dinner even though we hadn’t made a reservation. The food was good.

We realise that there were a lot of people there for breakfast with us. The set up of food in a corner caused congestion with people waiting to access the food there.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Harderwijk. All sites are in walking distance of the hotel. Particularly interesting was the wall around the town and the Marius van Dokkum museum. Well worth a visit.It is possible to walk to the train station as we found out when there were no taxis available. Top tip. If you need a taxi book it well in advance.

great room, pretty big. Parking was very conveniently next door. Hotel looked recently renewed. The bar downstairs was also very nice. Location of the hotel is ideal as it's right in the center of the village.

Great Location close to the water, market, shops etc

The restaurant, the breakfast, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Not really any problems. Parking was convenient.

We stayed for Blije Bietjes Foodfestival and it was really close-by. It provided all the things that we need: reasonable size of the room, clean, friendly staff, prime location.

Breakfast assortment was very limited and hoped the coffee tastes better.

Really nice hotel. Staff were really helpful, beautifully clean abd fantastic location.

Nothing to dislike, just Woukd have liked a sauna after a whole day walking.

Spacious room with a large bathroom, electric plugs in the both sides of the bed; quiet environment; parking available; friendly staff both at the reception and bar.

Parking under the trees was not a wise decision as the car was covered with a sticky substance dripping from the big trees; if available, use the garage.

Harderweik is a nice place for families. It's an older hotel but in good shape

On the night we were staying it was a very warm day. Unfortunately the room didnt have air conditioning so it was very uncomfortable.

Excellent location, walking distance to city center and restaurants. Parking next to the hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Good shower.

Lighting in the room was not great, reading light didn't work independently of the bedside light

Location, location, location, perfect for the centre of Harderwijk and the lake side amenities.

Couple of minor niggles dealt with very quickly by staff
