    • Location
    • Was okay
    • The room was very charming, cosy, and clean. There were a lot of nice touches like an espresso machine, earplugs, and a little bag of local candy.Great location! In the summer I can imagine it is quite noisy with the nearby restaurants and bars, which is probably why they provide earplugs.I was glad I didn't bring much luggage, because my room was up three flights of steep stairs. The bathroom was a bit chilly because it has ventilation but no source of heat. I learned to keep the bathroom door open to let the room heat in. The unlocking of rooms by internet was a little confusing at first and potentially problematic—what if you run out of battery or lose your phone or are traveling from outside the EU and have to pay roaming charges?—but worked fine for me in the end.

    Cons -

    • To many stairs,small room
    • Theres no elevator and you can literally hear everything, and if someone coming up or so the bed shakes
    • I could hear the next people in the next room talk and snore and run the water.

Walking distance from the station (~1km).Good price.Room had everything needed for short stay.Clean. The bathroom offers nice soap and lotion. Clean towels. Quiet location.Bars and restaurants are literally a few steps away if needed.Supermarket across the street.

Never met the staff. Granted that digital keys make the experience functional but also impersonal. The toilet seems to have a leak as it sounded charging water all night long. Maybe something to check. The twin beds can be tied up with stripes to avoid that they separate while one rolls asleep. An additional electricity socket is needed. At night, you either put the lamps and tv or charge the phones. Manageable but puzzling.

Great location and in an historic old building. Easy walking distance to all of downtown Zwolle. Our room also had a sweet view. This is really a bar/restaurant with a few rooms upstairs. We didn't mind walking up a couple of flights but some people might. The building has historic charm, but the rooms are newly appointed. It can be a bit loud on a Saturday night.

The room was a bit small.

Easy check in and key on your phone, beds are soooo comfy, bathroom has all the facilities you need and more! Just bring your own toothpaste!

Nothing, second time staying here and will definitely be back!

The hotel was charming, slim hall and narrow stairs typical from this country. It was located in a nice street which was decorated with Christmas lights that added a nice touch. The room itself was clean, nothing fancy but with a nice view to the square from my room. Bed was comfortable. And the tapas bar in the first floor was nice to hang out with my colleagues. Staff was limited but everyone was nice.

The room was clean but the electric socket under the tv was a very messy web of cables that didn't look very nice. The bed side table did not have a socket nearby so I had to charge my phone in the table (after unplugging the coffee machine). The shower room was very slippery. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, no lactose free milk and very limited vegan options.

Nice place to stay. In the heart of Zwolle. The room was aittle bit small but for 1 or 2 nights very ok.

    Location, nice old building.

Bike storage is on the street and only guarded at day time, that was not enough for me. Eventually I stored the bike in a facility a few streets further. And the impression of the entrance/first floor is not too clean, but gets better at 2nd and 3th floor where the rooms are.

Excellent location with restaurants, shops, market and bars,, clean room, helpful staff, good shower, room facilities including mini fridge

2 out of the 3 times we stayed, the keycard app didn't work; we had to get a physical keycard from the restaurant staff below; despite the same price, our room was bigger and better the first time.

    Super location, nice staff

A little noisy but as students it was okay for us!

Loved the breakfast. The room was satisfactory. Clean and comfortable.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and generally the 'noise' from the bar below is manageable and not as bad as we expected. Reception is at the breakfast counter (lvl 2), and we approached the bar counter when reception was empty. They are quick to help us with our check-in process.Located in the city center was convenient as well, maybe 15-20 minutes walk from nearest station.Breakfast was simple and great (croissants/bread/ham/cheese/yoghurt/milk/orange juice/spreads/boiled eggs)

Room was a little smaller than expected as we had 2 checked-in bags. Steps of the stairs are a little narrow and steep, just have to be careful when handling luggage.

Great location and access. Middle center with a good restaurant

Bit old. Very dry air in the room and noisy. The neighbours had special time together and we could enjoy through the thin wall

Great location. Good size room with required facilities.

Uncomfortable pillows. Its above a restaurant, so do expect some noise (doible on high floors). Its something you choose when you take a hotel in the heart of the city. A bit on the expensive side.

    8MaryPosted on: 5-3-2024

Although this was a very good location and close to the old city center, it was a very noisy place. It was a very warm evening and so the outdoor patios around the hotel were very busy until quite late. The hotel did, however, provide ear plugs. Coffee in the room was very good. Not sure we liked the electronic keys. One of the waitresses was very good about helping us understand the lack of check-in staff and the electronic key. The bar below the hotel was very old and had a lot of character.

Quieter place. Lower price given the noise factor and that there was not staff as such.
