    Cons -

    • Room needed repair - shower was leaking all over the floor Asked them to call us transportation into town and they said no one was available but yet we saw them get a taxi for another guest. They charge for pretty everything in the room. Even toothbrush
    • The hot chocolate was not good at all it was all water, and I didn't appreciate that I was charged for 6 massages instead of 3. I understand mistakes happen, but it made me feel like I was being taken advantage of. When I mentioned it to the lady in the front desk she apologized right away and corrected it for me.
    • poor road conditionsThey don't have a Colombian breakfast only the classic but it’s important have more variety They do not have means of transportation for guests

The stay was wonderful, beautiful setting and great facilities. However, it can get very cold at night, and if you don’t know Spanish, communication might be challenging.

The personnel is very nice and helpful, always being kind and ready to helpIt was nice to have the option of included breakfast delivered directly to the room and someone coming to light the fireplace every night. I also liked that kayak and paddling were offered for free as well

Both the access to the compound and to some of the cabins is very rough. The first is not good for a small car and the second is not easy for all type of persons (e.g. elderly). Some elements of the cabin were worn off, so more maintenance would be necessary. Some aspects of the cabins like frost-glasses could improve privacy, as well as better isolation of the toilet the mattress is a bit too soft for most people

Beautiful view, cozy and very nature like

It isn’t comfortable to eat in the room because the height of the chairs and tables doesn’t match.

Secluded, romantic and serene. We had a very private bungalow overlooking the lake, an having full room service for anything you want - it was kind of awesome. For Christmas even they made an absolutely magical dinner experience and delivered the food despite the tropical downpour. Bonfire service every night was a nice touch too. Extra bonus - super fast wifi in every bungalow (which was surprising for such a remote location)

Dirt road. How far it is from anything else you would want to see

Beautiful views and very good breakfast

Transporation to and from hotel. A car is needed.

    Beautiful view

Very simple building, no isolation, it gets really cold during the night, no AC to warm it up. A bit remote

Stunning views of the lake, adorable cabins with lots of glass, staff was genuine, kind and friendly, the food was very very good. We ate dinner at the hotel every night, it was so good. We used the kayak and paddleboard.

It’s a little far from town. Moto Chiva ride into town cost $10 each way.

Views and peacefulness, the service was great!

No tv which if its raining or you want to unwind you cant watch tv. Not much around the property to do so makes it difficult with the weather when its raining

The staff was very friendly and helpful specially Mateo. The bed was very very comfortable

The food. Specially the breakfast was terrible!! We were told that there was a bar by the water, when we went there was no ine there. We waited for over an hour ans no one came. We were also told that the price included the paddle board. We had to help ourselves snd look for the life vest because again there was no one there to help us out. We got there at about 3:30 pm. The cabin was sooo hot that we had to get out and go somewhere else until the sundown because the only waybto cool off was a very small fan. We were fighting the mosquitoes all through the night.

The property was super clean and super comfortable. Very nice.

I didn’t like the fact that they charge you for absolutely everything and also the dinner is not included which they should tell you that as soon as you check in. Also all the activities such as Jetski‘s massage, etc. are super expensive. I would suggest anybody to do it outside of the property. Is 10th time cheaper.

This is one of the most luxurious places I've ever stayed. Our cabin (Lar 1) was at the top of the hill with a view of the lake. We enjoyed the complimentary evening fires and the private outdoor jacuzzi. It was so nice to sit out on the deck and admire the view. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a mini kitchen and plenty of seating. The bed was an absolute dream, and we slept incredibly well. Down at the dock, we were able to bathe in the sun and use the complimentary stand up paddle board. All of the food at the restaurant was delicious, and we enjoyed having breakfast included in our stay. On top of this, the staff was incredibly nice and friendly.

The wifi in our cabin stopped working, but the hotel promptly sent someone to look at it. When they were not able to fix it, they offered to have us change to a different cabin, which was very generous. In the end, we decided to use it as an opportunity to have a tech detox. There was still wifi available at the restaurant and the dock.

The staff is amazing to begin with. Then you add the nice cabin and beautiful views. I would definitely come back.

The place it’s so beautiful and quiet. The staff was top notch

Would love to have a better view of the lake

    Beautiful property, by the lake

Unpaved pathways make it very hard to get out of your cabin, specially if it rains

    10JUANPosted on: 6-26-2025

Everything! The staff was very polite and helpful. View and room were like new. Bed and pillows are comfortable . Room service food from the hotel restaurant is great and very punctual.
