Great location, clean, and good service

Cathedral bell starts early in the morning.

Good location. Great breakfast. Clean and tidy.

The cathedral bell starts ringing early in the morning, like 6 or 7 am.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the location is excellent, just a few minute walk to the Christmas market at the cathedral. The breakfast buffet had a variety of tasty choices. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I liked that the hotel is located near the cathedral. We visited in December and enjoyed the Christmas market.

Spacious room and super clean. Reception staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and offerings were plentiful and fresh. Location was very good for visiting Mainz and its surrounding area.

Excellent location, friendly staff, extended breakfast

The curtains in the room did not function properly. It was way too hot in my room. Shower was too low to stand properly under it.

We liked our stay very much, there were nice dinner options in close walking distance from the hotel, it's in the historic center. The staff is very friendly and we also enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

It was unusually hot when we stayed in this property, and there is no air conditioning. We had a fan in the room and we placed it so we could sleep even with the heat. But there are very few days a year when in reaches such high temperatures.

Breakfast was very good

Wi-Fi was spotty at best. No in-room safe. Did not like sleeping in single beds.

The location is good— close to the center of the old centrum. Nice restaurants are close by. The staff is very helpful and they have a great se Ute parking area for bikes. The breakfast is top class.The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and bathroom modern. Lots of clothing storage options.

The room was pretty spartan.

Very crisp rooms. Staff was friendly. Convenient and safe parking in basement garage (€12 per day, well worth it!). Close to main church market (which we were able to experience on a Saturday; fantastic fresh vegetables and flowers) and the Rhine for a wonderful morning walk. Breakfast (included) was spectacular.

Great typical German hotel breakfast, with all the usual choices. Good value

The only negative about the facility was the tiny bathroom. Not a deal breaker though. Also, one of the staff at the desk gave us the wrong directions to a museum, and caused some very real frustration for us.

We loved the hotel. We booked this as a place to stay near Franfurt as we had a flight out in the morning. The room was very unique and the view fro the balcony was amazing. Parking was very easy and we were able to take a quick tour of the town before leaving for the airport.

The location next to old town was fantastic. The included breakfast was fantastic! The staff was very helpful and welcoming.

Needed a/c for a nearly 75 degree day.

Perfect location right in the heart of the old town. Lovely continental breakfast with some added cooked extras.

Extremely clean, and very comfortable room, though Pilgrim plain. Excellent buffet breakfast. Close to the pedestrian Street through the old part of town. This property seemed more fire safe than most others, with good signage and isolation doors on staircases, etc.

I did not mind it, but the property does have a very institutional ambience.
