Great location, beautiful lobby and restaurant. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The mattress and pillows were a bit hard for my preference. The breakfast was not included and was expensive, however there are plenty of other options within walking distance.

Conveniently across the road from the station (but unfortunately not so close to the centre centre).

I was bit surprised for a hotel the rooms were only cleaned once a week, which meant mine wouldn’t be cleaned while I was there, especially given the price.

Fantastic location directly opposite the railway station and very clean hotel. Excellent friendly Staff.

Limited facilities And no decent bar lounge. Very limited sitting areas in reception.

We loved this - how dog friendly it was, with treats for the doggies. It was possible to sleep super well in the beds. They were really good.

2 things; 1.. We were waiting 1 hour for checking out because their payment terminals was buggy. 2.. We paid a reservation fee of 50€ that we never recieved back. They couldnt make it work at the place so we agreed they should transfer it later- that never happened

The staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival, carrying our bags up the stairs at reception and guiding us to the lifts. Some of our rooms were upgraded which was a nice surprise. The rooms were large & clean, beds were comfortable and the products provided were lovely. Breakfast had a good selection and was tasty. When we encountered issues below the staff were accomoidating, allowed us to check out late and provided plenty of cool water/chamomile tea which was all greatly appreciated.

On our first night, our group had dinner in the hotel restaurant, the setting was lovely, the food all looked very fancy and was generally good, my steak was lovely.During this meal two people from our group ate the salmon with caviar in the restaurant. This was the only meal that they both ate on arrival in Mainz having travelled and arrived seperately. Just over 24 hours later both were violently ill, starting within 1hr of each other, this carried on for at least 4 days after check out from the hotel, resulting in them missing the second meeting with clients that they were in Mainz to attend.We informed the hotel and they investigated after we had left, they informed us that they had looked into it and deduced that the salmon dish was fine and it wasnt their fault. As a group we wholeheartedly disagree with this decision. We travel to Mainz regularly for work, we are there again next week, its very unlikely that we would stay in the hotel again or recomend to colleagues.

Location was good

4 nights and room not srrviced once - I did request new towels and had them immediately.

Perfect place to stay in Mainz if you are traveling. The hotel is opposite the train station, the restaurant is beautiful and the breakfast was really rich. I highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the chia apple pudding at breakfast and that it was not too crowded at the breakfast buffet.The toiletries and hair dryer were great, especially for business travellers with long hair, a good hair dryer and hair conditioner make a huge difference in comfort.

One small negative, you have to go upstairs to enter from the lobby, and there is just one small elevator. However, since it is a historic property, not much can be done here, as the integrity of the building must be maintained. Overall a great stay!

The best thing is the location, across the main train station so you just need to cross the street

This time my room was not cleaned, the bed was not done one day nor the bathroom cleaned. The breakfast was ok but compared to other times the quality downgrade a lot

breakfast was goodDay shift staff at front desk was especially great. Always had a smile Had a great fan brought up, when we said it was hotbreakfast room staff very niceit had a lift restaurants near by.

location was good just opposite to central train station main attractions were nearby including old town

they charged 30€ extra for wifi use for 2 nights this was first time any hotel charged for wifi which is free on all hotelshousekeeping was not done daily

Close to train station. Very nice people especially kitchen staff, worth mentioning Osiris and The tall bearded chef who made great omlette and pastries.

No closet and no place to put your clothes.
