I really liked this hotel. I am usually quite picky about accommodation — there is often something uncomfortable, whether it is the mattress, a smell, or the bathroom — and I generally do not enjoy staying in hotels.However, this hotel was wonderful, and I will definitely return. Everything was exactly right: a very comfortable bed, a warm room (even in January), no unpleasant smells, and a well-designed, very comfortable space.Whenever I am in Mainz — and I visit every year — I will certainly stay here. I have tried many hotels, but now I know this one is my hotel. The breakfast was not large, but everything was delicious and well balanced from a healthy lifestyle point of view.

How clean the place was, the location of the place, quite, and had all what you needed !

The location is excellent, only a very short walk from the main train station! The room was very clean, but...

I don't know what kind of cleaning agent they use, but the room smelled weird. The walls and windows are not very sound-proof. I could hear everything people outside or in the next room were saying :(

Self check in after 9pm easy. Clean room and comfortable bed.

After 9pm one must do a self-check in which is simple, the problem is the password for the wi-fi is at the reception desk which is closed off by a door so it can't be seen. The shower cubicle was far too small.

Great sized room, friendly staff and very despite language barrier. Clears room with lots of windows and a couch, slightly outdated room but know that when we stayed. Got to leave our bikes locked up in the courtyard as well as given after hours key access to the courtyard Incase we wanted to use them. Close to the station, but a little walk into town. Overall decent location just a walk away from all the action.

A little noisy in the morning as seems to be in the corner of a main commuter road so some work traffic in the morning and afternoon but not too bad.

Perfect location right by train station. Big room for 3 people. Clean. Pleasant. Provided 3 bottles of water. Quiet.

No a/c or fan; no coffee in room. Bathroom has a frosted glass pocket door so no soundproofing or complete visual privacy.

Everything wa excellent, I highly recommend this great hotel, extremely clean, all is good, great breakfast and very nice, smiley and friendly staff. I liked everything in this hotel.

I liked the Older Gentleman who spoke both English and German and was nice but the services and everything outside of that was Horrible.

Not sound proof. The rooms advertised isn't what you get. You get a room smaller with horrible views, no refrigerator, both moldy, and dirty bathrooms, no Air conditioning, the "queen" sized bed was just two twin sized bed next to each other. The whole hotel experience was bad and frustrating

The room was on a corner, spacious and nicely furnished

Location to main station and food,drink is fantastic.

2 of the three nights were exceptionally noisy on the street till early hours. No aircon or fans though when we asked they did provide pedestal fans.

The property is located just across the Mainz central station which is convenient to groceries, restaurant, etc The staffs were nice and friendly.The bathroom was clean.

The room is not sound proof, you can literally hear the footsteps and the sounds coming from outside. When we entered the room there were flies/bees flying because the window was partly opened.

It is closely located to the station and very clean. Rooms are serviced by an elevator.

No small fridge or tea or coffee making facilities.

Nice big room, good shower area, everything very clean, late check in was great and easy

Tile floors, could have done with rugs to make it cosier. Lift was so small we couldn't both fit into it without the alarm going so we had to go up the stairs with all the luggage.Shower pressure was a bit weak. Plug socket beside the bed would have helped. Lights over the bed were far too bright. One of the blinds on window didn't work. Outside was very noisy

Breakfast was neatly prepared and there was more fresh fruit than usual. The person who did the service was very diligent and careful in her job.

The wallpaper is peeling off the wall at the upper edge of the wall of my room which looks very ugly.Two days in a row the towels in my room were not clean (stains). My reclamation was immediately accepted and the towels were changed, but as it happened twice I felt very uncomfortable.I stayed four nights and the bed linen had not been changed.For the first night there was a small bottle of water, but no water provided the following nights. I would have liked a facility for making tea or coffee in the room since the reception closes at 9pm. The walls are very bad isolated so I could enjoy my neighbor's snoring as well as everybody using the staircase.There was a pretty noisy group of young people one night, and since there is nobody on duty at the reception after 9pm there is no chance for intervention.

Great location so central in the city of Mainz, and despite its proximity to the train station it is very quiet. I loved the late check-in system, staff was very friendly and breakfast wonderful.

A water heater for tea or coffee in our room would have been welcome, but it was ok also without since the breakfast room has a machine for coffee and hot water.
