Flair Hotel Zur Eiche

An absolute gem! Wonderful hotels. small, pleasant and super nice staff. Restaurant is awesome, parking easy and the rooms are quite large and clean. Good beds and pillows. This is a five star 3 Star hotel. Just wonderful.

The location was OK, not too far away from the highway.

Really bad experience here. When we arrived around 19.30, there was no one at the reception, after some waiting a clearly stressed out staff member (kitchen employee?) showed up, first thing he 'said' was "name" in German. He was quite rude and refused to speak English. We booked two rooms and that seemed to be a problem, he had no idea what to do and started helping other peopling while we were waiting with 3 tired young kids.. in the end, he gave the keys to some kind of appartement without any explanation why.. the apartment was quite new and good beds, but we will never come back after this experience with the staff..

I loved the hotel! As a frequent traveler who has visited many places around the world, I can say that this hotel served the best deer steak I've ever had in my life. It was a delightful surprise, especially coming from such a small, quiet place.

good location. there was a wedding venue on night we stayed and it was nice of the hotel management to warn us about this prior arrival. despite the wedding celebration late into night, the room was quiet and it didn’t disturb us.

some furnishings were outdated which you can not see from pictures on the website or booking.com

It was convenient to stay on route to Holland, not far from main motorway.

A bit awkward to find .

I am a frequent traveler using Booing.com.I should confess that I have never seen such a great hotel regarding the cleaness, breakfast, room, and ENVIRONMENT.

This is a lovely guest house not far from the Luneburg Heath in a classic northern style. A perfect place to delve into the charming atmosphere of Northern Germany. The staff is exceptionally friendly which certainly adds up to impression about the North. There are lots of nice stuff such as postcards and brochures at the info stand about the place. The parking is roomy, so I've never experienced problems finding a place.

I have to really nitpick to find negatives, but here we are. I've once noticed that the staff somewhat struggled communicating with a native English speaker. It's just a bystander's observation, I'm not a native English speaker and was commnicating in German. The overall town is not the liveliest place in the world, so please, late-bedders be aware and have a snack. There aren't much opportunities to have a meal after 22:00.

Location was ideal for travel without a car, bus-stop 5mins walk for frequent bus to town centre/railway station.Restaurant menu was small though varied for evening meals, Breakfast was as expected, continental with plenty to eat.Rooms are dated but very comfatable and clean, bathrooms well equipped, lovely shower.Staff and we muddled through with the language barrier all with good humour.

Could do with tea/coffee making facilities in room, thats it

very friendly, very nice, very quiet, my son sais "the fresh, warm bread rolls" ;-)

Was there in december and could not wait to come back and will be back in a few month again
