Upstalsboom Parkhotel

Is a good hotel in general, clean, staff is pleasant and polite.Inside restaurant can be also considered as an advantage although I didn’t try it.Many shops and restaurants in a close range area

The spatial planning of the building is quite strange and confusing, with many different doors and level on the same floor :D

The property is easy to find with good parking

Room in which I stayed in is old and would benefit from renovation. It was a tiny single bed the price of which was expensive.

It's pleasant hotel. My room was spacious, very comfortable. Was weird with entrance out of common balcony, like in motel, but the room was very good. Staff very helpful. Breakfast with a lot of kind of breads, boiled eggs and scrambled eggs, few kinds of meat and cheeses, cerieals, milk, end much more. The only thing I could grumble is the filter coffee, typical in Germany. Restaurants/bar opened till late evening.

A well located hotel next in close proximity to the town centre, good parking and comfy rooms. All the staff were friendly and it was a pleasant experience for a business trip.

The wifi struggled once the hotel was full, on the Sunday evening when it was quiet it was fine, but once all my colleagues arrived it slowed down.

great breakfast and excellent staff

wifi could have been a little better was slow at times

Great hotel, good location and great breakfast. The sauna is nice, they have two sauna's available but no steam room.

A steam room would go really well in this place. Everything else was great

Very nice hotel located in the city of Emden, Comfortable hotel with nice rooms. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices for the guests. The buffet we enjoyed in the evening was very tasty and also a lot of different food to chose from. The personnel was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing bad to report. :)

staff was very nice, hotel overall looks very nice and clean with nice surroundings and location

room 313 has a shower with doors that leak, the beds blankets are very hot, there wasnt a price list for the minibar. the bed was too small (140cm wide which was mentioned but it was still smaller than I had anticipated)

Nice rooms, comfortable beds and lovely breakfast in a very nice dining room.Great location.

It is a bit expensive

The hotel is well located and with a nice restaurant. The bed is comfortable enough and the size of the room was descent.

The hotel looked a bit aged and would perhaps require some remodelling. The hotel looked simple for a 4-starred accommodation. I found that staff spoke little English, though nothing that would overly compromise the stay.

It was clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly

The towels were too small. An extra pillow would have niceHad to pay for parking extra

the staff was very kind and good

TV chanels is not enough. There are no documentary channels. Almost all chanels are in German.

Breakfasts and evening meals were excellent.Staff were excellent.Room very clean and comfortable.

Nothing - everything went well for me.

Cosy and feel at home setting. Dinning is superb, value for money

Cleanliness can be enhanced

Dinner was good - the fish menu was particularly good.

However, at breakfast after 9.00 am there was very little or no hot food available. The serving trays were very small for the large number of guests who were present at breakfast time.
