Great Breakfast and overall value was superb

Small amount of parking and all parking spaces were small putting the car at risk for dings

Excellent reception upon arrival as always. The room was airy, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Very clean bathroom and good shower. Breakfast choice was really good and delicious.

Wi-fi a little weak (at the top of the hotel) but otherwise nothing to worry about.

Even though it was a small single room, it was clean and well equipped. The bathroom was quite impressive with a good shower booth and a huge mirror. The location is ok, close to the bus station connecting train station and the beach. Also ALDI and Lidl is close. The hotel offers variety of breakfast - eggs, hams, salads, breads, and drinks. In addition, there was a small tea kitchen that offers beers and drinks, as well as some snacks.

There was no power outlet near the bed (perhaps only for small single room). The mattress feels like slightly inclined; maybe because the other side is blocked by the wall.

The familiar atmosphere. I really liked the small kitchen where we could made a tea, coffee or get some drinks. The staff was nice and kind.

The smoke of cigarettes and it was not possible to sit in the bed.

From the excellent reception to the final check out it could not have been better. Very helpful staff, comfortable and well appointed rooms, immaculate bathroom and very good beds. The breakfast was superb with lots of personal touches

3 floors without an elevator can be tricky if you are wearing a bit suitcase

It is a magnificent place to come. The room was great and warm , its important as it often rains here. Breakfasts are fantastic. Location -perfect, as close to the downtown as to the seaside. I travel too often and seldom want to return but this is a place where I want be back one day.Many thanks.

The steps to the room - no lift for old guys like me....BUT very helpful changed from 3rd to 1st floor

Breakfast was good. There are some nice restaurants nearby which serve tasty sea food.

I had come from Hamburg and I did not have a corona test with me. The staff sent me to two wrong locations for a schnell test . Both centres were closed. Cuxhaven does not have many test centres and its really not easy to move from centre to centre by bus as transport is not regular. I was very upset that the staff did not seem to care that I was struggling to find a test centre. I was completely shocked at the poor customer service and uncaring attitude by the ladies at the reception. When I called up and told them every test centre I had been to was shut , the lady on the call actually laughed at me. I think the fact that I am non German has something to do with behavior.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Deichvoigt. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast buffet was great and our room was very nice. We had a very comfy bed and a large bathroom ?. We were also very impressed that it only cost €5 extra to bring our dog for the night. We would stay here again.
