Pros +
- Bad
- Location is good
- The room was commensurate with the price and fully equipped for our one-night stay. The receptionist was exceptional (Andreas) who was very welcoming, super helpful with local information and had an excellent sense of humour! These are the people we rarely meet in life but who make lasting impressions for visiting (and very weary) travellers because they go out of their way to be accommodating and provide assistance where they see the need.
Cons -
- Had to check inn via an computer. Did nor work No staff, called 24 hour service many times, no one picked up the phone. Had to cancel and order a room on a hotel nearby, that had a reseption with people. They said there where a lot of people who came to them because of the same problem as we.
- Staff is not helpful, even if we take the whole responsibility to keep our luggages on the lobby floor until the train time they didn’t accepted. They should be more kind and helpful, people are coming from Sweden or Denmark just for shopping which is good for Flensburg economy so they need to consider more about being nicer
- There was no lounge or common room or place to sit while waiting for others in the family to get ready.Although there was parking close by, it would have been ideal to enjoy parking within he same building as the hotel.

The location.
The check in procedure. There was a large group in front of us. The entrance hall smells. The lack of human contact is not for me. The person at the reception on the third floor sits in a glass booth which may me think what does this person need protection from? Due to dynamic pricing, this place was not cheaper than others.
Cleaning persons was great. Bookings and or ibis made a mistake in the booking though and the personal responsible did not solve the issue and blamed us instead.
If they had solved the problems with our booking. Also it was very loud during night. Both in the hotel with other guests and outside with people screaming very late (Sunday => Monday night). I do not recommend the hotel if you are planning to actually sleep.
The bed was comfortable.
Internet wasn't good.no parking facility .outside was very noisy as above bus station. I actually left early hours of the morning because I couldn't sleep with the noise outside. This is more like a hostel than a hotel. I won't use this one again. I paid the same price in Bremerhaven for a 3 star hotel and this was business class with many extras and room was 3 or 4 times the size.
Very clean and comfortable room, excellent location. Really friendly staff
The location is good for this basic hotel.
No ability to leave luggage before or after staying
location.
room was little smaller, toilets are very small, and the toilet papers are not refilled on daily basis.
The location was OK
The room was incredibly small and had no refrigerator and not even a kettle to make tea/coffee. We were so disappointed that we checked out after the first night and stayed at a nearby property. The staff advised we would have needed to notify them before midnight to have received a refund so the 2nd night was money wasted. Oh if you go to the toilet expect 10cm space on all sides as they're so small. If sitting your face is literally right near the door. If you're claustrophobic you'll hold it in until you go somewhere else.
A place to sleepEasy check-in
The room was totally made of plastic Poor separation of bath and room, all the steam entered the room
Just to sleep it’s excellent. No frills but all you need and good value for money.
Convenient and clean
Dreadfully dark and dull entrance to hotel. Quite off- putting.
good location, close to public transport, close to the city center
Centrally located and I guess the room was Okay.
No staff. No explanation as to how to even get in to the facility. Only a terminal with German instructions. When I called the service phone number he just opened the door and hung up, disregarding my follow-up questions. What ever happened to a normal hotel with staff that you can talk to, explain simple routines without the need for an app or a pin code? It doesn't feel to comfortable to leave your valuables in a room acceccible with just a six figure pin-code. If I lose my mobile, I'd like to access my hotel anyway.
Location in the center of Flensburg
It was not "Ibis Budget" but "Ibis VERY LOW budget"... For this price - disaster.
I liked the shower cubicle. It is practical.
The room was small. To place the luggage was difficult.
close to habour and bus station excellent
improve breakfast, rooms are more than spartanic.if your neighbour takes a shouwer you hear every drop.
Location was good
Building was old - room tight - everything a bit dated and not too clean. Was a bit of a rundown location around the hotel, but easy to walk to the nicer bits. Expected abit cheaper for the type of stay.
