Hotel Xenia Flensburg

We had an unexpected upgrade to a larger king size bed and room. The bed was very comfortable, and it was lovely to sit on a couch to relax. The bathroom was large with a very good shower. The room was soundproof, we didn't hear traffic noise nor the rooms next door. Breakfast was excellent, with a choice of scrambled eggs or muesli. Plus a selection of meats, cheese and bread. Hotel staff were pleasant, and speaking English helped. We came by train, and it was a direct route of 20 minutes walking. Very easy. We were only 5 minutes away from the harbour and the old town centre.

Great stay! Room is spaceous, shower warm, clean. Breakfast is healthy and delicious (bread, juice, jam, even cereal, eggs and other options). Very friendly. Quite a few rooms but not hectic at all. Really easy to get your key. You are in Flensburg center in a few minutes walking.

Cannot think of anything negative.

Autonomous in-checking went very smoothly Breakfast was tasty, it was served to the table. Parking was easy at the court. Personnel was friendly and made you feel welcomed.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The room was fine and the breakfast very good indeed.

Found gaining entry difficult. It is over-dependent on having a smartphone. I prefer meeting a host or receptionist! But I understand that it cuts costs.

Nice clean room with modern facilities and a great breakfast, 5min walk from the town centre and the pier.

Nice small style hotel. Easy to do self check-in. Room comfortable enough for a short stay. Breakfast was good and friendly staff.

Exceptionally well managed hotel! It’s easy to realize that many clever ideas are implemented. Beds are rather soft and comfortable. Foamy mattresses could be odd for someone. Breakfast is amazing. Every table is prepared as a small, private buffet. Boils eggs can be served according to your preference.Main walk street man can reach in 3 minutes walking. Few recommendations: - the hotel parking lot contains 14(?) bases; there are about 25 rooms; it’s reasonable to come early - room keys drops to the key box after inserting the code; this system works from 14:00. The key works both for front door and the room door - tea bags and 4 coffee capsules are refilled daily. The coffee machine and electric kettle are in the room

Self service made the hotel impersonal after noon. Work place is decent but not very comfortable if someone would like to work in the room. The hotel designation seems to be for tourists, not for business people.

Very clean place, comfortable family room on the uppermost floor of the house. It is located in a pretty part of Flensburg with cobble-stone streets, close to the water (Forde). Big breakfast served at the table!

It was nice that there is parking spot of the hotel but when we arrived it was already full and the next option close-by was paid parking with coins or apps that can be used only by locals. However, we were able to park the car in the end, so it is a only a minor issue, not hotel-related.
