Kindest things I can say are….Good location in the centre of Arras. Breakfast fine and staff were friendly.

I had requested a bath. No bath. No door or curtain on cramped shower making floor sodden. Needed to put down bath robes to mop up water so we could walk safely in the bathroom. Shower smelt of old people and urine. Two single mattresses pushed together making intimacy difficult. (Valentines trip) Toilet was far too high making yet another bodily function uncomfortable! If this is the ‘Luxe’ room we’d paid extra for I dread to think what a standard room is like!

Have not stayed here for some time but not disappointed so many of this class of hôtel have dissapeared with the expansion of the big chains.So good to find a hotel with a restaurant open on a Sunday evening, à rareity in France.

Location meant we could walk to all the places of interest and a large number of great restaurants and bars. Paid parking is available if you pre book for 10 euro per night.

Hotel a bit tired but room was great

The central location and ease and cost of parking was excellent and these were our main reasons for choosing this hotel. The hotel itself is an interesting building with lovely public rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.The room was large and warm, bed was comfortable and there was tea/coffee/complimentary water.

The “deluxe double room” was spacious but very dark due to a lack of lighting and in need of a refresh - stained/bleached carpet, no headboard and tired furnishings.Shower over the bath but the shower screen was too small so difficult not to get the floor very wet and the bathroom sink was very slow to empty - would go so far as to say it was almost blocked.

Very comfortable beds and quiet setting, so conducive to great sleep. Room was tastefully furnished - traditional and simple. Staff very friendly. Breakfast very good. Dinner was fabulous and is highly recommended. Parking secure.

Bathroom was a bit tired

Perfect location for visiting the Christmas Market. We were able to walk to the market and also to the Arras Memorial. Delighted with the onsite parking which we had precbooked. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was spotlessly clean and bed was very comfortable. The restaurant served delicious food served by a very friendly waiter with a good sense of humour.

The curtains didn't meet in the bedroom and the shutters were stuck. This meant the room was a little too bright at night from the street lighting. The bathroom felt a little exposed as there is only a net curtain for privacy. The shutters were only a third of the way down and stuck. We could see directly into the apartments opposite.

Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff, good breakfast, great location, and easy parking.The barman who served our drinks each night was brilliant!

Our room was a little tired and not any of those pictured on the booking site as expected, albeit the room was comfortable.
