- Clean, warm, friendly staff, great value for money!
- Exceptional
Cons -
- The room was not clean - papers from previous client in the bathroom and under the bed
- Public toilet next to reception smelt awful. Walls very thin.
- would off been better if the air-con worked as it was overly hot and windows don’t open far enough for any breeze

Quiet and ashtray outside
Hard matrass, no topper
Great budget hotel, Just right for a travel stop, decent size clean room, helpful staff and good security.
Another towel would have been nice for 2 adults staying.
It was pretty comfortable and the staff were nice
The website said it had a restaurant and it did not. It’s out of town so it was a long walk to go for dinner
Not up to the normal...
I have been to many Campanile hotels and always found them to be very good. However this one was poor on many fronts. There was no restaurant facility, we couldn't get a drink when we arrived as the bar wasn't open. Each room only had one towel and we had to wait until 19.00 to get a second towel as there was a problem with the washing machine. We also had to ask for more toilet rolls. Breakfast was passable: the fresh pastries were heavy and not up to the standard expected in France; items were not replenished so we had to ask for more items; twice I had to turn on the egg cooker and on our last morning the water had boiled away so much that it didn't cover an egg. Also on the last morning they had run out of yogurts.
Easy to find. Good location for travelers
Only one towel for a double room! Staff tried to claim it was a laundry issue but every guest for the three days we were there had to ask for another towel. Air conditioning wasn’t working properly, lots of noise but no cool air coming out. No evening food available despite menus posted up suggesting otherwise.
Stayed 3 nights so that I could visit 3 different locations from one base and that worked well
Lack of restaurant for evening meals which is advertised as available on the Campenile website. No room cleaning during the 3 days I stayed and only one very thin and way past its best towel was provided. Room well overdue for a makeover.
Staff were friendly. Room clean, bed comfy. Location suited needs.
Info on Booking.com needs updating as restaurant only open for breakfast. Very limited on drinks from bar. On 3rd morning breakfast items were running out. Toilet roll and tea/coffe/milk was not topped up, told by reception to find chamber maid. Room Aircon not working.
Comfy bed
No restaurant despite one being advertised. No food outlets nearby.Miserable reception staff.Room too warm but no cooling available
Ease of booking in and not far off the motorway
The room was incredibly hot, the 'AC' was not AC its just a built-in fan that doesn't actually blow any cold air. I had to be up at 0330 but at 2330 I was still wide awake as it was so hot. I ended up checking out around 2345 and sleeping in my works vans as it was so much cooler. I know the hotel can't control the weather but they can control what the AC does.
Confident location if you travel and need to stop for the night, clean, friendly staff, Excellent breakfast.
A bit dated, felt like a cheap motel at times. Still worth the money if you need a bed for the night.
The Camapanile format is basically a motel. This one is located near main roads which makes it handy for either visiting Lens or overnighting during travel. There was no real noise from traffic, on the other hand. So we got a good sleep. The breakfast was great with lots of fresh fruit, bread and cereal. Overall, a good stay and I'd certainly stay again.
Like other hotels I have been to, there was no liquor available at the bar at night, which was a disappointment after a very cold day. The rooms could also be spruced up a bit.
Plenty of secure, free parking. Reasonable amount of storage space in the room.
It's a bit in the middle of nowhere. Our room was only made up once in three days. The breakfast was chaos (although I had sympathy for the guy who was single handedly trying to keep everything in order). The bed wasn't very comfortable. Poor soundproofing between rooms. The room was pretty cold (in late Jan/early Feb) and the radiator was not very easy to use.

Good location, clean and comfortable but no restaurant anymore and no bar
No bar, no restaurant. Difficult to locate

Cheap, easy for onward tunnel journey, parking secure and electric charge points.
The staff! Very brusque and dis interested - the morning receptionist in particular was basically downright rude to a number of guests! Restaurant was not open even though it was advertised as being so.Room heating difficult to control.
The location is convenient, next to shoppings and the motorway. The site is beautiful, with lots of trees and nice view from the second floor. No noise from the motorway and quiet site too.
The site was secure with a closed gate on our late arrival, but the gate was open after a phone call with no further checking. We stayed in an updated room bit it had a dirty loo and the mattress and bed were really old and past using conditions.... the breakfast was also very poor on quality and variety fro the price we've paid (overpaid). we have spotted mold in the cheese and asked it to be changed but the employee just cut it out! We've been dissatisfied with the facilities and services, considering our stay in other Campanile Hotels in the past.
