ibis Styles Kortrijk Expo

The parking is motorcycle friendly and has plenty of space, while not under cover it is off the main street so it felt safe to leave my motorcycle unchained for my multiday stay.Breakfast was overall good, plenty of choice between hot (eggs, bacon, pancakes etc) and bread based products with a decent selection of meats, cheeses and condiments that i liked.Dinner was available during the weekdays as a buffet with a rotating menu and all was well made.Cleaning service happened while out but fresh towels were received on a daily basis and the room was clean when i came back to it.The Expo center is a casual 5-10 minute walk away so the location was perfect me and the movie theater next to the expo is a welcome bonus.

The bathroom had the toilet next to the opening of the walk in shower, wile the position didn't hinder me from entering the shower there was no way to close the shower at all, this meant that the floor, an the the area around the toilet got very wet very easily and the provided floor rug/towel couldn't really keep up.Ventilation also wasn't the best in the bathroom so it got very humid very quickly but this didn't have impact on the rest of the room.

Good location near the highway. Clean. Fine breakfast.

The room is very, very small and not comfortable.

Hotel was in perfect location for what we had traveled for so all good but we were asked if we wanted breakfast as I didn’t book it we said yes that would be great but then found out they’d only booked us in for 1 person when 2 of us were travelling and at €20 per person for breakfast it was not worth it and asked us to pay extra at there fault which we declined

Firstly, no kettle in the room can't even have a coffee, but the main problem we booked without breakfast as we checked in the woman asked if we wanted breakfast adding to the stay, we said yes why not then paid. Only to find out that they had charged 20 euros each for a continental breakfast and only 1 breakfast on each day. The first day there's no problem the second day they say we need to pay more money. The manager wouldn't come and sort the situation he was arrogant and wouldn't listen to a thing. Only to find out they had done the exact same thing to another couple we were speaking to.

Comfy bed... nice soft flow shower..and great brekkie

The lift was a pain going up and down when pressing the opposite buttons

For breakfast provide gluten free bread. In general breakfast was perfect. Free parking. Clean rooms, quiet location, with good access by car.

Room and overall really nice hotel

Advertised with electric charging which is why I booked it, but upon arrival I was told they didn't have electric charging which caused me a nightmare as I had to go and find one and then missed evening dinner.

Clean , bed and a good breakfast

Affordable, and very close to the EXPO. Breakfast was good.

It took a bit long at the reception to finalise my booking.

Check-in till 22:30 only, despite is mention 24 hours. Was travelling by car and it was nervous to be on time

Attention to detail was not perfect, we did not get the water bottles , goblets and tea etc that came with the superior room, we had to remind the receptionist on our second day as they had been forgotten

Very expensive! Room is cold especially the bathroom very cold !!! The shower for my first night there was no hot water ! They told me it’s under maintenance! But they fix it second they .

The staff was very nice and accommodating. We were in a junior suit and it was very spacious.

The lighting in the room was very poor.

Nice clean hotel with an excellent restaurant / bar and lots of parking space.

Enough choicces for breakfast for everyone is something

In the morning a older lady very rudley asked for our room number 3 times and was constantly looking with a long face

The restaurant was closed in the evening. I was not told until arrival, the nearest walkable restaurant was a McDonald's or Pizza Hut for an evening meal not ideal!! Other than that it was a drive into town.

Very helpful staff and they had gluten free bread for me at breakfast, thank you!

The decor in the rooms is starting to look slightly old. a refresh is needed.
