D-Hotel

super modern, cool, and beautiful. Wonderful lighting and atmospheric color design!Wonderful architecture. Nice to have mostly carpet everywhere. Lots of parking makes the stay easier. Large room.

The shower was extremely hard to operate since the turning knob for water turn on/off was so small that it could not be turned anymore once your hands were even slightly soapy and wet. Water splashed out of the shower onto the entire surrounding bathroom floor making everything including bathroom mat wet.There were also too few shelves or hooks near bed or in bathroom area, even non to hang the towel anywhere in reach of the shower.

Not much to be honest.

Travelling to a music festival with a mate and while we’ve known each other for 40 years and stayed in hundreds of hotels (and tents) together, the idea of sharing a room with a toilet that has no door just doesn’t appeal. I cannot understand this design. I think us English are a bit more conservative than our European friends. For me these things should be behind closed doors.Additionally, the hotel says each room is twin unless you request a double, and my booking said twin, but the beds were adjoined, although could be separated, and had one duvet and fitted sheet. Not an insurmountable problem if we’d stayed but we didn’t, we found somewhere else and left.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were really clean and the shower was excellent. Beds were very comfortable and it was really silent!Very happy with this hotel! We will be back.

Two single beds instead of 1 double bed. (Seems to be very often like that, also in other hotels)Toilet can be seen from the room (no seperate door) can be annoying for privacy reasons.

Nice bar

Air conditioner barely worked and the window could not be opened, it was very hot and uncomfortable. Shower has no door. Bathroom has no door.

Good location for our specific purpose

It looks really nice, but very cold. Open bathroom and no privacy since no door to close when your on the toilet. Problems with electricity and the shower was hard to use due to limescale build-up on the knobs.

Very nice building and location. Amazing terrace and really beautiful architecture.

The bathroom was completely open. A sliding door at the shower that can slide between the toilet and shower can help a lot to prevent the bathroom getting so wet after a shower

Interesting hotel. Very helpful staff. Breakfast normally served from 8am on bank holidays but we had to leave at 7h30; they very kindly provided a full breakfast from 7 am for us. We would be happy to return.

The position is excellent in a very beautiful neighborhood, and the location is particular.Breakfast is way too expensive (25€) as it’s a standard continental breakfast, also the use of the spa (27€ if you’re a guest).I would consider it more a 3 stars hotel rather than 4 stars.

Room was clean and big, balcony was a nice bonus. Note: this was in the other hotel where D hotel had moved me.

I did not stay in D hotel, as they asked me if I want to cancel my reservation or go to another hotel. I was totally surprised about this, as I was attending an event and obviously needed a place to stay. They booked me into another hotel nearby which was ok as such, but I was unsure the whole time what happens when I arrive in that other hotel. Well, they did have a room for me so, all good in the end. Nevertheless, I can't recommend D Hotel and won't use it next time I visit Kortrijk.

Beds were to small. The quality of the mattresses was poor.The bathroom was not satisfactory; it lacked a proper door for the toilet.

Not too expensive, reception is good, friendly staff. Spacious room with good beds

Bathroom was very open, couldn't even close a door when going to the toilet. No window to open, only a climate system. Some fresh air would have been nice.
