Villa Magdalena Eeklo

This is the second time we’ve been here. I absolutely love Villa Magdalena - we are already planning to come back for the Xmas markets in Bruges and Ghent. I’ve traveled all over Europe and this if my favourite place to stay.

I liked it all.

Good breakfast, comfortable room and friendly service.

We traveled as a group with three couples and it was important for us to be together yet have our own space. The location was perfect for getting away and yet having access to activities and sites in the area. The host was incredible! Excellent service, beautiful, clean and beautifully decorated accommodations, inside and out,! Host provided amazing hospitality in every way!!

The property was lovely. A beautiful building with lovely garden. We stayed in the family suite and it was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. We would definitely return.

Villa Magdalena is a lovely house outside Bruges. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and relaxing private patio space overlooking a pretty garden. We especially appreciated the port and chocolate that greeted us.

Unfortunately there was a family with children in the room above ours who were either dropping things or jumping around above us late into the night and again early in the morning, which made for a far less peaceful stay.

Extension room not nearly as good as rooms in the main house. Bathroom did not have a proper door or window. Mattress was extremely soft. Beautiful environment and friendly host. Good breakfast.

The villa was clean and comfy and had such a warm, home-y feeling when walking in. Our room was upgraded upon check-in and it was beautifully decorated and clean. The bed was comfy, and a big bathroom; good parking spaces on the property. We also had a small welcome drink and Gent candy waiting for us in the room. The attention to detail was super! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great location. Clean. Nice host. Good for couple or family.

Clean and good central location. There were issues with the heat for the time we were staying which made it difficult especially as it was particularly cold. There was no offer of compensation for the two nights which would have been nice. Otherwise it’s a very nice bed and breakfast.

Beautiful villa, exceptionally clean. Easy to find. Fabulous bathroom and shower

A bit of road noise, but aircon in the room meant didn't need to open the windows

The accommodation was excellent! The owner was super responsive, and i had a great time during my stay. The property was clean and well equipped. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

We liked everything, the bed was confortable we slept well, breakfast was great and the owner made us feel welcomed and cared.

Our three night stay was very pleasant and I would definitely return. The area was safe, great location, breakfast was excellent with much variety, and the hostess was kind and always available. We were very impressed with the estate decor and yard. I thought the atmosphere was very relaxing.

I do not have any complaints with the stay. I would like a list of recommended places for dinner. My GPS was not accurate. We were fortunate to find a place every evening on our own.

Everything, the Location, house, hosts, facilities. Beautiful gardens and totally relaxed atmosphere AND of course Breakfasts were exceptional.

There was nothing to dislike, except we could not stay longer.

Great location in the middle of the 3 cities (Brussels, Bruges, Antwerp) very clean with modern furniture, including AC which is very rare in the Europe apartments and you need it in summer because it’s hot

Lovely house and garden - great to have a good size family room. Very welcoming. Great breakfast.

Air con unit in kids room was too loud. Not enough hot water for us all to shower in the morning!

The house is stunning, Annalise is very welcoming. Breakfast was very good and served in a beautiful lounge or outside in the garden. Good facilities in the bedrooms.

We had the garden room which was a little compact. There was an air con unit right outside which was quite noisy in the night.

Brilliantly furnished and decorated room and public areas, extremely comfortable, very nice garden, very reasonably priced drinks, friendly and helpful welcome. There's also anewly opened Indian/ Me / Thai restaurant immediately opposite, which sounds unusual but is actually great

Nothing not to like, really a 100% great experience, exactly what we needed after a 10 hour journey

It is easily the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We had the suite wish covers the whole top part of the B&B - it was immaculate, like a show home and so spacious too. We didn’t want to leave!

It is a beautiful property with a gorgeous garden, beautifully decorated, spacious, parking facilities ,
