Pros +
- The location is great for the main attractions like Keukenhof, Amsterdam, the sea. The room was clean.
- Comfortable hotel in a quiet location driving distance to Keukenhof Tulips. We were lucky to experience the Flower Parade right outside the hotel. Good breakfast with a variety of both hot and cold choices. Japanese restaurant attached offered fresh, authentic selection. Free parking out the back was handy.
- Very friendly, clean, comfortable, great bathroom, great breakfast, on bus route and can easily see the tulips
Cons -
- The room seemed too small for 4 people, but if it’s only for sleeping, then it’s ok.
- No lift to upper floors was difficult with cases.
- Property was quite run down from the outside. The towels were very thin, hard and didn’t smell fresh. Furnishings were very basic. Too many steps both up to the room and within the room and even in the bathroom. Not good if you have poor mobility.

Very friendly, clean, comfortable, great bathroom, great breakfast, on bus route and can easily see the tulips
The staff was incredible! It was my grandma’s 86th birthday and they even gave her a present!
Breakfast was good. Lots of options but hot food wasn’t covered. Location was good to get to Kuekenhof Gardens

Small sized room with too little space to keep bags. Standing bath is small and no curtain wetting all over the floor. If you have heavy bags to carry, it would be very difficult as you need to go up and down the stairs from road to get into hotel, and also inside.
Love the hospitality! Xieran, Stephanie, and Steffan were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The croissants were crispy! The room for the four of us was a bit tight. Could use an extra mirror outside of the restroom. Ordered a ride from them to take us to the Keukenhof Garden. Very helpful.
Really friendly family who manage this. Very tasty food in this house and bicycles for free. We had a wonderful time at here.
It was all nice
Owners have tried hard to make good use of the available space with good quality furnishings. Good parking. Excellent breakfast and helpful, pleasant staff
Upper level so tight stairs.
I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room and toilet were very clean and spacious, making for a comfortable experience. Nice quiet neighbourhood to relax in if you're looking for a place to unwind and get away from the noise. The breakfast was a highlight with a great variety of tasty options, including hot foods, fruits, cold cuts, and pastries. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They offer bike rentals for just 10 euros a day and even helped us set up the bikes, lending us a phone holder for navigation with Google Maps. After we checked out, they ran to the bus stop to return an item we had left behind in our room—truly exceptional service. We also tried the all-you-can-eat sushi buffet located at the hotel, which is run by the owners. It was definitely a treat since it's on the pricier end but highly recommended. The hotel's location is convenient, with a bus stop just a short 2-3 minute walk away. However, having a car would make visiting the area even more convenient. Overall, a fantastic stay with excellent amenities and service!
Very pleasant and smiling people! Very delicious breakfast, coffee also;) New renovated room with good conditioning air .
There were not very much clean in bathroom , I mean floor .
Breakfast was good. Location not so good
Room too many levels
Good location convient to city centre. Free parking an added bonus. Staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. Breakfast was more than adequate with a great selection and something to suit everyone. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay close to the city.
Quiet area that had parking. It was close to Keukenhof gardens. Good breakfast the host was nice
Rooms are overpriced
Staff were generally friendly after some initial concerns about breakfast times.Buses stopped right outside. Very convenient for Keukenhof and the tulip fields but little else nearby - no shops or restaurants. There is a fridge available for guests to use but no one told us about this - we found it by chance.
The entrance to the hotel was up a fire escape which was dangerous (see pictures) as it was not securely fastened. We couldn’t believe this was the entrance for guests to use …but it was!Inside the hotel, although warned in advance there wasn’t an elevator to the upper floor, it was difficult to access the first floor as it was via a spiral staircase. Our room was on two levels with no handrail to the steps and there was a small step in and out of the bathroom, which was easy to forget, especially in the middle of the night.Breakfast was ok, but no choice of cereal - just cornflakes. The cooked breakfast was eggs / sautéed vegetables with scrambled eggs. Good to have freshly baked bread and macarons offered.Towels were small and had definitely seem better days.
Location and secure covered place for bicycles
We had a very uncomfortable night of sleep because of a dripping, rattling shower and Plumbing
Breakfast was amazing the hosts were very welcoming made us feel at home
The set up in the bathroom was terrible with the stairs going down and too much water on the floor from the shower
good restaurant
noisy night and day, road next to the window
The location was ideal for our visit to Keukenhof Gardens. There was a good choice of food on the buffet for breakfast. The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite.
The stairs were a little steep and spiral, not very good for anyone with mobility problems.
Staff, sushi, near tulip fields
Quite far to cycle from train station with two small children rucksacks and suitcase
