- Mona was so Nice and friendly
- This hostel is great, clean rooms, hot water, good fan, working wifi, communal gas top cooker and great communal relaxing areas. Mona Lisa is LOVELY and made our stay so much better! Everyone that works here is super friendly and there is always someone available to talk to if you need anything. The breakfast in the morning is great. We got two crepes, a piece of toast with an egg how you want it (fried, scrambled etc.) a plate of fruit, a glass of juice and the option of tea or coffee with sugar and milk optional. Each day we got a different juice and fruit which was a nice bit of variety. The walk down to the beach is so close it takes less than two minutes, it is a bit hard to swim as the tides arent high until later at night around 6 so during the day you can just relax on the sand. It is hard to find things to do in Jambiani just because everything like the turtle sanctuary and the dolphin or snorkelling tours are up at the top of the island in Matemwe which is a 2 hour drive. We did a nice snorkelling trip for roughly 2 hours just from the Jambiani beach right down from the hostel which went out to the reef and it was great. Highly recommend Mudi House if youre staying in Jambiani!
