- Lovely staff and the hotel is right on the beach. Wonderful to jog along the endless beach each morning at sunrise. Lots of interesting fishing boats and safe for swimming. Impossible to get out of your depth in the sea as you can always stand up in the water. The high winds here are a bonus as you need them to keep you cool in the roasting heat.
Cons -
- Like at another hotel we stayed at in Zanzibar, the room safe was not bolted into the wall. Easy enough to get it bolted in, and then it would be safe to leave valuables in. However, everyone seems very honest in this location so this was no problem really.
