We did not like anything about the property.From the reception to the service or rather should I say the lack of service.

The hospitality was extremely poor Staff was soo rude and unhelpful The rooms had a terrible smell We had to fight to have them cleaned The food was just disgusting to say the least - the fruits smelled like onion

excellent location right on the beach, communication was good and the staff very friendly and welcoming. i loved that they allowed an early check-in as well as a late checkout.Special mention goes to the Manager Mr Gupta for going above and beyond for my parents who were celebrating their golden anniversary. He organized for them a dinner at the beach, as well as hotel staff singing and dancing for them, then topped it up with decorations in the room and on the bed. i highly recommend this hotel

The hospitality of this hotel is a 10/10Great location, beautiful white ???? and front beach.Perfect location far away from the overly crowded part of Zansibar. I was on a solo trip and I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel . Very clean environment and peaceful ?? Thanks to the chefs who made delicious meals! And the staffs who were soo friendly and very welcoming.

Michael can arrange excursions to Zanzibar's top attractions if you need any recommendations from one of the locals themselves, and he offers you really great prices too. He booked us a trip to Mnemba Island as well as Jet Skiing and Prison Island. We also had lovely long chats with him daily, as well as lovely conversations with Ibrahim behind the bar and all of the other staff members. Evenings at Sky & Sand Resort are peaceful, with the chance to enjoy sunset views from the swinging beach beds. The laid-back atmosphere makes it easy to unwind, yet there’s enough entertainment and adventure nearby to keep you engaged. During our stay there was also another young couple who were celebrating their 1 year anniversary, and we watched as the team as Sky & Sand made a beautiful private dinner table on the beachfront for them to enjoy.

This is not related to the hotel itself however there’s no much to do around the hotel by walking distance

We loved everything from the garden to the pool areas, the beach and the view was breathtaking. Amina and Micheal and the protection service lady received us well. Checking in process was professional. The bar tenders and waitresses and the rest of the staff were great. Not to mention the General Manager came to welcome us, else.even became our camera man?. House keeping on point. The entire staff went out of their was to offer us an excellent service namely: Amina, Micheal, Salehe, Odria; Neema, Ibrahim including garden service as well as protection service staff. We had a great time and we would encourage people to stay there for holiday. Beautiful beach and big pools.

Honestly I like the view of the hotel, it's beach front with white sand Beach, staff were much friendly to us we really appreciate and recommend this place.

The hotel is good and in a perfect place. I loved the sheffs, cookings and the bar attendants. They were friendly and the house attendants were punctual and it was a great time being there.

The staff are friendly and look like family ,the food is so delicious the location is just to the beach. It's really worthy to the money you spend!!

This is a really good deal of you want to stay right at the beach for a very reasonable price. The room is big, has airco and hot water. The staff is really nice and the pool is a very big bonus. You can go snorkeling right from the beach.

It could have been cleaner, better don't dip into the swimming pool, and it needs maintenance. But with that location and the staff they got hopefully in the future they will get better.

Nothing around for miles.Food was.. terrible. We had to return one meal entirely.One pool is closed, the other had thousands of bugs in it.. some of which bite you. Under new management and under construction a bit.

Its a beach front property, the beach is easily accessible.

From arrival there was noone at the reception we had to enter the property and look for help, after a very long journey we waited 20minutes to get assistance together with other guests and it was a wet rainy day. Check in was 2pm we arrived at 3pm and the manager asked us to wait further because the 4 rooms we booked needed to be cleaned, let me highlight that there was no apology. The receptionist casually mentioned that they double booked our bungalow then gave us an alternative which was very disappointing. We eventually got the 4 rooms almost 2hrs later and had constant issues, one room had broken AC, the other had no lock or keys on the door which had to be fixed, the other had a blocked shower drain which flooded the floor when you take a shower, the other had a very offensive smell due to a plumbing issue we ended up handing back keys cancelling payment for that one room. The hallways had poor lighting and we used our phone torches at night to see the steps. The restaurant only has one physical menu for all guests to share, food quality and presentation was disappointing and mostly menu items are unavailable. We opted to eat at resort next door. The bar was poorly stocked and you could only order what was available. I am not a complainer but the standards at this place are quite low and the pictures on booking.com are not true to what the place really is. The staff are unmotivated and really do not care for guests there is no urgency or concern. There is no apology for things that are out of place and the manager is not very helpful either. I urge the management to look into these matters, sadly I did not write everything down. Please invest in better cleaning, better service, the staff desperately need basic hospitality training and guidance. To future guests I advise that you do your own research on this place and make an informed decision to avoid disappointment.

No fridge, kitchen & bar didn’t have a lot of things on the menu

 the staff is very friendly and helpful! The coast view is amazing. The beaches miles apart from not everywhere is subtle for for swimming. How old are highly recommend specially, the budget was really affordable for me as a solo travel!

It was clean, but they don’t clean every day, also the breakfast is not to diverse!
