Loved every minute, kind & professional staff, great food and lovely pool area

Beautiful setting!! It¿s a little far out, but we the benefits outweighed that negative. The hotel staff and room are fantastic!! We didn¿t take advantage of the golf or equestrian facilities¿but they look fantastic! Gardens are amazing!!

The setting, design and impeccable cleanliness is outstanding. The staff that took us to see the hiunds ¿ and that tooknus on our horseback ride were so lovely, also the gentlemen that took us around on the estate were wonderful. Wifi grea

The dining staff and dinner choices often weren¿t as oustanding as everyhing else.

This place is a beautiful hidden oasis that allows you to step back in time and escape while still having all the accommodations that you love and enjoy today. Resort was very clean and staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

It would be helpful to have on-site self laundry services and fans available.

We stayed in the Manor House - which was amazing. Room was very high standard. Lady Helen restaurant was closed because it was a Monday so we ate in The Hound Restaurant. Not as high quality but was ok.Breakfast was excellent and a nice change to have table service and not the usual buffet.Staff went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Service and ambience in The Hound.The dining tables which have been put into the Major Bar have ruined the relaxed atmosphere there. It was nicer when it was just armchairs and sofas.

Lovely property- lots of activities to do onsite and the restaurants were amazing! The staff was excellent in anticipating our needs and the breakfast was divine.

The shower didn’t drain well while we were showing, which for a property of this caliber, seemed odd.

Incredible experience. Staff were kind, attentive, and went above and beyond (I requested the recipe for their Guinness beer bread, and they wrote it down and gave it to me with an entire loaf to take on our flight home that day). Trail ride was spectacular. We loved playing with the hounds and exploring the property. They were able to arrange last-minute babysitting for us as well, which was an unexpected highlight. We can't wait to go back!

Everything was absolutely amazing. The entire Manor house staff couldn't have been nicer.We are ready to become Irish citizens now. We were there for a few days, I played golf, we swam and rode bicycles. It was a fantastic visit.

Nothing needs to change, keep doing the same and we will definetly return.

Dinner at hound was disappointing

Breakfast and dinner was excellent. A broader menu for dinner would be nice as we stayed for four nights and ate at the Hound each night. We did have a rental car but did not feel comfortable driving at night. My daughter stayed with you a few years back and said if we go to Ireland, we must stay at Mt. Juliet and she was right.

Weather was perfect. Unfortunately, I had injured my knee and was unable to enjoy the property during my stay.

Staff absolutely exceptional, especially Liam at front desk in Hunters Yard. Facilities excellent. Especially loved the equestrian centre.

Unfortunately, I found beds extremely uncomfortable. Did not experience this during my last visit.

Quiet location beautiful decor

Manager addressing staff by ‘young man’ or the receptionist as ‘young woman’. These people are professionals like him & have names! TV not working in the room & smoke alarm flashing every hour during the night.

Lovely hotel. Rooms nice size and comfy. Breakfast was good and food in clubhouses was also very good. Great location close to kilkenny City. Staff is extremely friendly and happy to help when needed.

I have stayed at other hotels 5 star hotels and they offer a turn down service which would have been nice. Also some toiletries in shower were empty. The ones at the bath were fully stocked.This is just a suggestion as it didn't impact on our lovely stay

Booked a courtyard view room, didn’t receive one. Was looking over a road. Toiletries provided could have been better quality. Drinks in the bar were ridiculously expensive and not even served in the correct glasses or with any garnish

1. The setting of the property was great. 2. The pool was nice. 3. SPA was ok but it’s not 5* quality if you compare it with Farnham Estate or Kilronan Castle. 4. It was quiet and peaceful 5. Breakfast was great

1. TV streaming wasn’t working. No reason giving by hotel when we asked. 2. At arrival the woman checking us in was grumpy. Not very welcoming. The 2nd day I asked the man at reception desk where the children’s playground was, he said there wasn’t one. But I bumped into a gardener outside who was able to direct me. I found the other hotel staff friendly. 3. Pillows weren’t great (personal preference) and a lot of light came through the bedroom door from the corridor. 4. Not much to do in Kilkenny for kids on a Monday or Tuesday as most places are closed.
