Pros +
- Huge beautiful garden/forrest area in the back, staff was very polite, room was spotlessly clean, our dog was welcomed.
- Location and restaurant
- Ultra convenient location when passing trough on a roadtrip (A1). Clean, quiet, cosy. Unbelievably good value for money. We booked same day, not knowing how far we’d be able to go in one day. We had dinner in the restaurant upon arrival - an absolutely lovely experience. Sitting outside in the beer garden, enjoying the beautifully lit park at dusk. Great food (enormous portions - the starters were meals in its own). And then there was Jake - our (British) waiter - fantastic! So attentive and energetic. He even brought us wine samples so we could choose the perfect glass with the food. And there was even a dog parking with water for our dog.The only reason why I don’t give the full 10 score is because we checked in at 20 and left again very early next morning - so we didn’t get to experience much of the hotel facilities - but the little we experienced was a clear 10’er, maybe even 11…!
Cons -
- No air conditioning, no fan. We arrived on a hot day and room has been boiling hot. The window dodnt open all the way because fire alram was obstructing it.
- Room is very hot and I asked bottle of water they say only first day we put other days ? no and after 10pm hotel close.
- No elevator but several levels. No air condition, no reception from late afternoon. Parking lots are scarce. In fact difficult to understand why this hotel got 4 star grading. For me it is between 2 and 3.

Calm area, look nice from outside.

Pleasant
The house on the picture just contains the restaurant. The rooms are in a Beton building. It was clean but I expected something much nicer from the photos.
Beautiful property in a good location and an easy walk to restaurants . We had a large comfortable room with everything you could need. The adjacent restaurant was amazing .
Quite location and good views over the park breakfast buffet was good and a lot of choice the room was large and comfortable even though there wasn’t aircondioner
Easy to find. Probably good for business conferences. Good restaurant The Brasserie is part of the complex.
Check-in was a bit cold, unfriendly. Tesla EV chargers did not work although the non-Tesla charger worked.
Very mixed feelings. Room seize was good, bed comfortable. Check in was okay but then you are asked to scan two QR codes for the WIFI at reception. That didn't work and it took 2 staff and me several minutes to get a connection. In the room at the far end of the building there is no WIFI reception at all. Very annoying for a place that calls itself a business hotel. Back to reception and got the answer: yes we know the WIFI doesn't work there. We will give you a room update near the front desk where apparently the router is fitted. The upgraded room was about 1 square meter larger but now I had a room without a desk and chair to sit and work on. How is this room better?
WIFI and the way they make you register for it. This is 2024 and this is supposed to be a hotel for business travellers. Ridiculous system, annoying for guests. Electric sockets in the room were not working. Had to unplug lamps to charge the phone. TV had only few channels and only German no international news. Shower very small and bathroom although quite new and fully equipped was so cramped that it seemed overly full. Noisy rooms especially on the front next to a busy main road. No self locking doors you have to use key all the time. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room. Don't believe the 4 star rating on the websites. Its a 3 star rating at best. Pictures show a nice time period building but that is actually next door and the restaurant. You sleep in a ugly concrete block that is cold and has no character at all. Breakfast was mediocre, no staff, no coffee machine. Had to wait long time for someone appeared to ask her for coffee. Again, not worthy of a 4 star rating, guests require service and attention and do not have to walk through half the hotel to beg for a cop of coffee at breakfast. Bottle of free Gerolstein water in the room was actually already opened, seal was broken and filled with tap water. Could have been done by a previous guest but it happened to me in both the rooms, seems almost like it was done purposely to save 2 euro. With propper staff training and more service orientated procedures this place could be much better. It just not there, need a lot of work to become a hotel where you would return to. The hotel looks like it has been remodelled and updated but only a new interior doesn't make a good hotel.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The onsite restaurant was very good.
The breakfast was very continental and so not much choice for us being British - Maybe add a few more cereals.
The location and parking was ok. The nice lady at recepcion was great, she had all the awnsers and was wery nice and helpfull.
Breakfast could be a bit better. For 4 stars hotel the wereity of food was wery poor.
Friendly staff, good bed, breakfast OK.
I asked for quiet room, but got a room in the front of the hotel, next to a busy road. There is also single glass.Furthermore there is worn carpet in room and a very narrow shower cabin.
safe place to park my bicycle. Clean, voor rooms, good breakfast, nothing to comment. The garden with sun chairs
It's a quiet hotel in a small city. We've been travelling by car and it was easy to access the place and park there. Staff was helpful. Our room was clean.
The hotel is nothing like those pictures you see on booking. The rooms are located in a different building which reminded me of a motel. When booking our stay, I was under the impression that this hotel has modern interior design and relaxing zones but there was nothing like this. The restaurant was not working. Their reception is not 24/7, they leave after 9pm. Maybe we went there during their off-season but the price could be cheaper for such quality.
Very clean and calm place with great historical main building. (Our room was in an annex though)
The room could use some wall pictures and more hooks for clothes
The best thing about the property is the staff, very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is on a not too busy road but has a lovely park behind it, great if you have kids.
We would have loved eggs for breakfast!
Breakfast good, but very few options to choose from.
