Hotel Celina Niederrheinischer Hof

Under new ownership this Celina Hotel has come a long way. Hotel desk clerk whose name I do not have was very helpful with recommendations, cheerful and friendly. Rooms were very clean. Excellent breakfast. Parking on site.

Clean and tidy.

Hotel bar and restaurant were shut on Sunday and Monday.

I didint like any thing. By mistake I booked 2 days earlier I text them true the email to change the date but nobody reply, I wait for 4 days for reply when it show usualy takes 24hours to reply, nobody texted back, booking. Com how me if i want to change the date i meed to pay extra 10euros witch one its fine i did pay. Because nobody text me back about the dates I called them, they told me that they can change but it cost another 49 euros witch one i can pay when i come to hotel i thought okay.. what can I do, i booked. I came in the evening and you know what, administrator told me he forgot to put me in.. he told me to that its fully booked and they don't have any space that I need to wait 5 minutes he will fine another room in another hotel. Okay I wait for 20 min in can park, come again to office when he saw me straight away said sorry I didint check any room yet. Wait I'll call someone, he find some hotel. Gave me address and told me that for this I need to pay another 80€ I said I already pay 63 for the hotel u ask me to pay another 49£ and now u asking me to pay 80€ when I forgot to book me? So he gave me 30€... I go to another hotel and Say whats happen so nobody call to that hotel for my new reservation... and they was fully booked to. Just worst night Meare in my life. Just avoid of this hotel.. they don't care about u

Orderliness

1. Lack of access to (hotel's) Internet 2. I booked single double bed, I was given two single beds!

NOTHING!When I arrived the dor was locked and nobody answered me on the phone!

Staff was super nice. Small room, but has everything you need and even a power strip so you can charge multiple devices.Parking in the backyard

Room bigger than expected, good beer in the bar, plenty of parking. Booked about 2 weeks in advance and got a very reasonable price. 56 euros per night.

No aircon, breakfast average.

Hot, no air conditioning

Clean and spacious room equipped with little kitchen, sofa and TV. Hotel has a restaurant with delicious food! It was our best stay on our holiday!

Nothing to complain!

It was a good stop for my road plan. The staff was nice and welcoming, and the value was way better than other properties I looked at but still, I was expecting a little more out of this place. But overall I would stop there again if I had to drive through the same area. But next time will choose to eat elsewhere

The room was super small I could not even fit in the toilet. The facility in general was ok and could be used for single travelers for a night stopover only. Foor in the restaurant was below average and I was hoping to have a good German food experience however the property failed to achieve this level of expectations. You have to pay 5 euros for parking which doesn't make sense being a private property parking.

I dont recommend this hotel to anyone, non-customeroriented stuff of the hotel

Due to logistic issue I arrived in the night later than expected (preliminary texted until which time check-in available but didnt get the answer) - when i tried to reach hotel employee they said its too late and afterwards they will call back. But nothing had happend and after 8 hours of driving in the deep night in another city - I've started to seek another option for stay for the night which is really challenging in that area. Afterwards they refused me to refund the money which I've payed in advance.

Very good room, excellent beds, good breakfast

Disappointing

Shower base allowed water to pour out everywhere. Old furniture and carpets. We thought we lost our key and they gave us a scare by mentioning that we should pay back a very high amount (why not adopting plastic keys like every other hotel?).

Location. Price for the short overnight was OK

Bathroom was not exactly the cleanest.

The room was huge. Bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was sufficient. Great restaurant downstairs for dinner.

The landlord asks extra money for hotel parking lot, extra payment for breakfast of each person, and extra payment for one blanket for our child

The room was not cleaned, bathroom ok. But the noise from the route and tram station was unacceptable even with closed window.

I like the room (403/401), it was clean, comfortable, warm, enough space.

Breakfast was a little bit poor.
