New good place near to the city center, a bit expensive, but ok

Comfortable bed, nice TV, spacious bath.

Could be a little warmer, heating turned to max but still had to sit with pants and sweater on, also in the bathroom there was some brown liquid spilled all-over, looked like whiskey or something.

Location is excellent, everything is walking distance in the city centre. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious.

I expected a kettle in the room to make tea, which was listed in the room as facility. There was a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules and tea bags, but not sure how I was supposed to make a tea with this coffee machine... I was travelling with my dog, and they have charged me EUR 35 (!) for him, specially staying there for only one night. It is scandalous! I'm ready to pay some extra for my dog, what I have normally did, max EUR 10-15 a night, but EUR 35 is way too much and unacceptable! Also just a few words about the parking, because it is also overpriced! I had paid EUR 25 for 1 day, while in the parking garage next door it could have costed me EUR 17. So be aware of these extra charges before booking... If I have known these extra charges, I would have booked somewhere else.

Good location, close to the Christmas market and public transport. Nice staff.

Room looked absolutely nothing like the pictures; it was dark and grim. Facilities were outdated, especially the bathroom. It was cold and we were unable to change the temperate. Expensive for what you get, but undoubtedly affected by the surge in prices in December.

The location was great for access to the Christmas Market. The hotel was modern and clean.

The room only gets cleaned every 2 days, so you have to ask for clean towels. Also the room didn't have a fridge.

Nice location close to the Centre and about a 25 minute walk to the messe in Dortmund which is why I was there

Bed comfortable but the blanket was way too small for a single bed spend more time trying to fix it maybe I got unlucky. WiFi very poor too especially for a 4 star

the hotel cannot be compared with NH or any other business hotel around.The room was very small and the breakfast was definitely not worth it for 26€.Bed was not comfortable

The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was also nice offering a solid breakfast buffet.

The WIFI coverage could use an improvement as there were frequent disconnects.

All was ok . Room clean , internet good. Breakfast perfect.

Don't have parking space ... for that never again come here .Big hotel but parking space for 10 autos ....

At 01:00 at night a fire alarm went off , everyone had to get out of the hotel at night , fire brigade didn’t find anything, we went to sleep again, but later at 3:00 and 5:00 fire alarm went off again..a very poor management of such situation from the hotel!!we didn’t sleep all night , I had a worst night of my life! If that would have been a real fire , it would be a disaster! Management of the hotel should think about that !

Good location.

The hotel is replacing carpeting in all guest rooms and hallways. Rolls of carpeting were stacked right next to our door, but the reception clerk didnt say a word about it when we checked in. The stretch of glue was so strong that we had a headaches within 10 minutes of arrival. The hotel allowed us to cancel our reservation and helped us get a room at another Mercure hotel, but it was a much less safe part of the city.

Easy to find, Smooth check in, comfortable room.Nice hotel bar with, as it happened, sport on TV.There is a €25 charge for parking in the hotel car park, parking for motorcycles is on the street in a designated bay and free.

Although there is secure parking it was not secure for motorcycles. Not clear on the hotel details

NO internet connection in the room.It was good in the lobby and most areas.

All fine. The guy on reception on Sunday night when me and a colleague checked in was a bit of an @rsehole but I guess he could have just had a bad shift.

Staff very friendly. Food options are poor, but it doesn't matter because you are in the middle of the city. There are plenty of options to eat out.
