would have been nice not to have to pay for parking

Perfect place to stay during the exhibition at Messe Dortmund. Big parking in front of hotel. Everything very clean.

Bed was nice soft, bathroom was very nice and clean, there was heat in the room which is not very common in hotels which was fantastic (in October). Room looked modern, good blanket, etc. Breakfast was good.One lady at the desk was super nice, next day another one was quite bitter.Price was good.

I had big bug in room on arrival :D I guess open window does that. But it was funny.Parking is not free which I really dont understand why as it is hotel parking and there is nothing around...

I didn’t like the rise in price from the week before, or the fact that it didn’t include either breakfast or the cost of the car park. As we had a trailer we blocked the exit for some time in the morning whilst we sorted out the car parking. It was deception.

Employees were great, hotel is clean and modern, room and bathroom were great. Really happy with my room.

I was expecting more from Marriott. Hotel is very basic, it has got all you need for a basic stay but i expect higher standard from 4* Marriott hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near the motorway, with easy access and an outdoor car park. Parking is paid, of course, but there are plenty of spaces available, so finding a spot is not a problem.Good breakfast with a nice selection of various treats.

The downside was the non-working TV, which only displayed corporate adverts and no channels. Unfortunately, I was unable to call reception as the in-room phone didn’t work either. Speaking directly to the gentleman at the reception didn’t help – I was simply informed that there was a problem with the TV, with no offer to change the room or send an engineer to fix it. As I was tired from travelling, I didn’t have the strength or desire to pursue the matter further.

Clean and quiet with a comfortable bed!

We were happy with these accommodations with one exception: when checking out we were charged an extra 19 euros supposedly for using a “special” wifi. We thought we were using their free wifi. Very disappointing!

One of the receptionist is very rude, rooms are small, not on usual Marriott level.

Spacious room and well designed. Location nice and quiet but really close to Dortmund city centre.

Bed/matress was a little bit hard, also pillows could be more fluffy. Unfortunately, we had to pay the parking for 2 days/nights but we already paid at the ticket machine and didn’t even have the car in the parking lot the second night. Nobody informed us about the parking coming on the invoice or gave us a ticket to exit the parking lot (even after giving my license plate upon request).

Quiet. Parking available. Good breakfast. The beds were very comfortable.

The front desk staff was slow in getting me checked in. They charged me additional 30 Euros for breakfast because they did not accurately account for prior credit card payment. Even after emailing me for the 30 euro charge and receiving my credit card details, someone decided to charge 60 Euros. Poor communication and accounting.

Great location for the exent I was attending

I booked a single king bed and was given a double twin - so I was not very comfortable. Also, on arrival, I was told breakfast was included, but when I had breakfast I was told that it wasn’t part of my booking and I would need to pay extra, so that was less than ideal.
