Hotel der Lennhof

The rooms are very large and interestingly decorated. The hotel is in a very nice building and has a free car park and is easily located near to the motorway. The staff are very friendly and the food in the restaurant is exceptional. We have asked before if the chef is famous in the area and they reply "no, but he cooks with local produce and with passion". Worthy of a high class restaurant and half the price. The waiters are also very knowledgeable.

The pillows were uncomfortable. Free water is available in glass bottles - which is better for the environment but the cleaners make a lot of noise clearing them up early in the morning

As we had travelled to see a Dortmund game was nice it had a BVB theme. The rooms were clean - location was walking distance to a tram station to get to football stadium

The pillows were hard to sleep on and the cover was heavy. The room was very cold. I asked about heating and it didn't work. The baby cot wasn't ready upon arrival, when I had specifically asked about it on reservation.

The shower was incredible

Their was a wedding on which was a little loud but not unbearable

I love the property, an old farmhouse beautifully restored into a hotel. Careful: no elevator.

Rooms where tatty, needed a good re paint, the shower was crazy small, rooms where hot and the A/C didn't cool the room down even with a window open the bed was old and ripped underneath and Geman pillows are always horrible but forgot to take my own.

We were only there for two nights and when we said we did not need to have our rooms cleaned, we each got a voucher for a free drink. Lovely service!Nice clean rooms, traditional architecture with modern facilities,Good breakfast and helpful staff.Our double room was upgraded so it was great to have the extra space.

The shower was tricky to get to the right temperature.

The garden, the restaurant and the food were great. It was not far from many public transportation options and it is close to services and stores. The service was bilingual and very kind. The location also makes this hotel very peaceful.

Wi-fi kept disconnecting and was not very consistent. There is nowhere to just chill or wait outside your room that is not the restaurant or the bar and that it doesn't make you feel like you're on the way.The football decoration in the rooms feels tacky and generic.

I got my reservation, and it was cancelled 2 weeks after I got the confirmation. After complaining, I got 1 of the rooms back.During my stay I was suggested to avoid room cleaning and replace it with a drink from the bar menu, which I accepted. However, when I tried to pick my drink it was refused, I only had the option to pick a beer, water or soda.When we tried to pay for a drink the owner wanted to charge us 60€ for a whisky, which wasn't it's price in the bar menu.I understand now they were busy with a wedding in the same date, thats why they cancelled my room and serving drinks. It was a terrible experience to pay so much for this accommodation and get a terrible service and disrespect in the end. Other people had the same esperience has us, I do not reccomend Der Lennhoff, specially to foreigners.

the hotel is located at the periphery of dortmund, access better with car, great green located, clean, big rooms, nice environment , great stuff, taste breakfastrecommend

a little bit old facilities in the rooms, but in a very good condition

Very friendly staff and a good room for what you pay! We went for the Dortmund game and walked about 40 minutes to the stadium. Very safe area

You may have to walk up one set of stairs. Not a problem for us.

I had luggage and they was no lift but I was offered help to carry my luggage to the second floor.

That we were told that we could not eat at the hotel AFTER we have booked the stay. And when we asked the staff for alternatives we were just referred to a nearby Pizzaria
